  1. @@Wafflesmom I read your post too fast and just saw the Jessica Rabbit comment! hahaha you make me laugh I wouldn't mind looking like that at all! vavavavoom
  2. @@Wafflesmom awww your ring bearer's outfit is adorable! Your OOT bags look great and think everyone is really going to love and appreciate them. Your joint bridal shower looked amazing! So cute! 10 shots?! omg you guys are going to go crazy in Mexico! I love the letter balloons! My mom is getting some for me for my shower too! It's going to be a busy week for you for sure but you have everything so organized and under control it will be fine! eeeee 11 days! not long now!
  3. Aww @@Wafflesmom You've been a very busy lady and with only 11 days until your big day it's totally understandable if you miss a few updates! eeeee I can't wait to see your pics, I'm so excited for you! @@calgarybride2015 I had a look on Pandora too and like you I didn't see anything. Didn't even think to elsewhere until my amazon-addict Mom told me!
  4. @@calgarybride2015 I actually ordered the charms from Amazon believe it or not. I usually go to the stores too but my mom ordered some for my sister for Christmas from there and they are really nice, not as expensive and they fit Pandora. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Thank you ladies! @perianjay @ashhtayy I can not wait to see it next month, and to get married in it! lol
  6. @ mmm Cibo is so good! We had our work Christmas party at the Yorkville location, and I'm taking my soon-to-be MOH and her best friend there for lunch before our Manicures when they come to visit from England. I would love to be close to a subway station too, I'll def be taking transit and having a couple drinks. I'm having a dry January but the 29th is pretty close to end of the month
  7. @@yycbride2016 Everything looks so great! You have so much on your plate! I'm stressed planning one wedding and my best friend's bachelorette. I couldn't imagine planning a wedding and AHR. But you look like you've got everything organized (love the boxes!) under control and it all looks amazing so far
  8. @@calgarybride2015 Crazy how fast it comes back isn't it? I'm sure you'll be back to where you were in no time! @@vancouverpetunia You are so great at staying on track! Such a motivation! Update: I'm happy to say I am 1 lb away from my pre-December weight! @@yycbride2016 you were right about it coming off quickly, it was only 4 lbs but to lose those most of it in a week is great! Sorry to hear you weren't well, I got hit with something last week too but it didn't last long thank goodness. Awesome you're getting back on your workouts! Once you get through a few days it will feel like a habit again. I'm been eating really clean, no booze, working out 6 days a week, continuing my spinning, and can already feel the difference. Col is right on track with me, it makes it so much easier to eat well when he's not sitting there eating pasta and mashed potatoes. It's also nice when one of us doesn't feel like going to the gym, the other pushes. I have no doubt if we continue this momentum we will feel a lot better about being half naked with everyone for a week!
  9. Just throwing a dinner idea out there - Cibo has really good Italian food. There's one on King St W, Yorkville Ave, & Yonge St. @@krystalball you're a bit more familiar with downtown - any suggestions?
  10. @@ashhtayy You're making so much progress! I agree with not wasting money on the chargers. Your set-up is going to look so beautiful you won't even miss those. The cake is pretty tiny. Ours is going to be a small one-tiered as well, but we're just going to leave it since it's really only for the tradition of 'cutting the cake' and in your case, for your Nonna Your guestbook frame idea is awesome! Love it! I may steal and use something like that for Col and I, being from two different countries it would be perfect! The wedding week activites thing is tricky, Col and I were talking about that last night - we have 3 main events for everyone to attend (welcome drinks, bachelor/bachelorette parties and the wedding), 4 for the bridal party ( plus rehearsal dinner) and we were trying to figure out how to word it without making it look like we're planning their week, because it is their trip too. Maybe for a couple of the events that aren't mandatory, like the pool party, you can say something like "We'll be at the pool at __pm you'd like to join us!' or something less cheesy lol But I also agree with @@vancouverpetunia and @@calgarybride2015 that it will sort of just happen, it did at the destination wedding I went to. No planned activities except for the bachelor & bachelorette parties and the wedding and we all managed to meet up in the same spot every night. The guys attire looks great - I love the look of the first one, it's different. We've chosen grey for our suits too, so hopefully they hold up in the heat! A friend of mine at work advised that the groomsmen bring an extra dress shirt to change into, I think Col is going to just in case. Your letters look great! Yay for 50% off at Michaels!
  11. @@vancouverpetunia I just had to catch-up on your thread - everything is looking great! You seem very on track! I think your timeline is very reasonable and organized. The gifts thing can get tricky. I paid for my girls dresses and got them each a pandora charm since they both have the bracelets. Perfume is a nice gift, I would be my usual paranoid self and worry about it breaking or spilling in transit. hmmm is there something sentimental you could do for them? I'm trying to think of some options that will travel well. I'll get back to you The groomsmens gifts sounds great! I didn't think about getting the parents anything - I was planning on making photo albums after the wedding as well. And your fans are super cute!!!
  12. @@calgarybride2015 So funny! He texted me the next morning and said he put on his ring again... and said "I don't even have an excuse this time" hahaha I love it The charms should arrive tomorrow, I hope they're as pretty as the pic! I always get my sister charms like a cat on her birthday or a Christmas teddy bear for Christmas, but I wanted this one to relate to the wedding in a way, so that when they looked at it they thought about that day. Not really an update but I was sitting in the bridal shop on Saturday waiting for the seamstress and I was in awe of how beautiful my dress looked hanging there I actually love it more and more every time I see it and try it on. The seamstress is adding a corset to the back and I've lost a little weight so it really gives me an hour glass now. I'm picking up on feb 8th and will be sure to post pics! It will hopefully be the only fitting and alterations I need as the length is perfect. I'm so excited!!! We sent our wedding wishes to the resort over the weekend and Andrea is being really responsive so far. Hopefully this continues! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I agree with @@acw271011 such a fun night and definitely don't drive if you don't have to! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Thank you @ and @@ashhtayy you convinced me [emoji4] I've ordered and they are expected to arrive on Tuesday. Another thing to cross off my list [emoji4] I'm off to the bridal shop in a couple hours to get the corset put in. I'm so nervous/excited! I can't wait to see the finished product in a month! We're sending our Wedding Wishes into the coordinator today, I'm sure there will be a lot of back-and-forth but I'm so excited to get this part started! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Happy Wedding Day @@snswedding2016!!! Enjoy every moment [emoji4] can't wait to see some pics! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Need opinions! I bought my girls their dresses as their bridesmaids gift, but I want to give them a little something on the day. They both have pandora bracelets and I found this charm that goes with our colours as well: What do you think? (Sorry for the poor quality of the pic, I took a screen shot) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. @@acw271011 ahhh I know! So close! I've asked the resort forum about Andrea and haven't heard anything yet, but I'm sure she'll be great! I'm so sorry. the only thing I know about the resort being adult only is Sian Kaan like you mentioned. Since we knew we had a couple kiddies joining us we didn't even look into adults only so I'm afraid I have no information for you! You mentioned possibly being there during the two weeks I'm there, even though it might be different resorts, it would be incredible if we could meet up, and if you were there for the big day! Keep me posted! And I hope someone gets back to you soon! If not, is there a travel agent you can speak to and ask?
  18. @@ashhtayy My wedding date is only just over a month before yours and I feel like I hit that 5 month mark just yesterday, I don't even remember the time between that and the 4 month mark! Time is seriously flying girl! But don't stress, still lots of time and you seem very on track with everything
  19. @@acw271011 You're the best Just got an email from GBP assigning our wedding coordinator to us! We have been assigned Andrea. I'm looking forward to getting everything planned!
  20. We just had our wedding coordinator assigned to us! Has anyone had Andrea as their WC before?
  21. Hi ladies! Hope you're all doing well! A couple of my girlfriends started posting their weight and measurements in our whatsapp group chat and we're calling it "the biggest loser" for Mexico preparation. We're all the in same boat as we have all gained a little weight over the holidays but they are all a lot smaller than me as well, I'm by far the tallest so I haven't posted any of my stats because I feel like the numbers would be astronomical compared to them even though our frames are all different... I think I'm eventually going to, it might push me even harder.
  22. @@acw271011 Thank you thank you I know what you mean, there's so much going on and so many of our dates are approaching I'm finding myself going backwards in everyone's threads to catch up too. When Colin came home last night he told me he put his ring on again that morning when he woke up lol apparently he wanted to see what it felt like with his hands warmed up LOL he's worse than me! I'm happy seeing everything coming together as well! Time is flying! I have a lot going on at the moment and feeling a bit of anxiety, but I'm sure I'll be okay. My bridal shower is 1 month today and I'm planning it as well so it's a bit more stress on my plate, plus I still need to arrange my best friend's bachelorette for some time in March... and stick to our workout schedule! Keep your fingers crossed for me
  23. Wow Wow Wow @@Wafflesmom everything looks incredible! Your ring box is so unique and beautiful! I love that you're putting the lyrics out to your first song (and that we have the same song ) I really can not wait to see pictures of it all together! Wow! And @ is just so talented, never ceases to amaze me! Your table numbers are so cute, I love that you can incorporate Waffles into the wedding! Let's send your grade two teacher pictures of everything you've done and show her how wrong she was! lol
  24. Safe travels!!! I hope you have an amazing week and your wedding day is perfect! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
