@@airsusie HI! when you go in March can you check out spots for 30 people as well if you can. Now that the invites are out we maybe closer to 30/40 then 60. Ill appreciate any info you find out. Thanks

@@airsusie We signed the contract for the room block I am using destinationweddings.com. So far so good. We inviting about 200 people.. I am budgeting for 60 people as well. We will see once the invite goes out this week. We are sending out our booking "save the booking" for the block of rooms ASAP. This way I can get an idea on how many people and people have time to pay it off. Our final balance for the room block is due July 10th. When it gets closer to your visit I would be truly interested in the reception and cocktail options. We will get married on the beach (weather premitting) but our reception I want indoor/outdoor not near a pool. I have a little one and need to be really concerned about him running into the water... Its something I have nightmares about. One of the big reasons I did not go with Sensatori.

@@saramatthews I would love to see the photos! I am thinking of using them or going with bringing my own from home. I am getting married at Finest!

Hi @@airsusie so excited to see someone else join! I am signing my contract this week. I wanted to have it ready for Feb 1 for the group block. I am using Destination Weddings as my travel agent. No decisions yet. Once I know how many people will be coming then I can see what we will do. The only decision I have to make is what room choice. We think we are going with the swimup walk out. Going to sign for the silver package but pretty sure we will upgrade to Gold And we are going to do a bonfire for sure. I have been to beloved it almost chose them, but they did not do a Sunday wedding. We needed the Sunday for the holiday days off. Teacher friends here in NY have off. I would love to hear all about what you see, venue spots inside/outside etc. I can not have it by the ocean nor a pool I have a little one.

Hi well I am officially booked September 13th 2015! Engaged NYE officially. I wanted to start some place for us to talk about this brand new hotel. I know some ladies are getting married at the resort early spring. Let's get it started!

Can anyone tell me the options for the reception space. I see most people get take the space by the pool area. Which is beautiful. I'm still trying to decide between Sensatori and Beach my dilemma I have a toddler and he loves the water. I'm terrified he will run into the pool. All it takes is one second. Maybe I'm overthinking. But thinking of others with kids too. I know the options at beach curious of the other options at sensatori. Thanks for the help

This is a great deal.. I dont see excellence resorts.

i think we are going to put it on one of the pages of the invitation.. "booking info" and just put the info about the registry. We come from a very Italian family they are going to get gifts no matter what we say. Thank you all for the input.

OMG if everyone goes what will we do LOL! I am not having a shower unless someone on his side is going to throw us one. I know my family will not. Our baby shower we paid for ourselves and had a nice cocktail party.

I was feeling the same way as you before I was speaking to a good friend and she was like out of 200 people maybe 30 will come. They are super close family on his side, and I know they are the type to send gifts no matter what. Then it had me started to think well I dont want them sending money because that will just go to the wedding, bills or baby supplies. Money just goes. I'd rather have things that we could use in the future in a new home, like if we were going to have a shower.. So torn.... Thanks for your input though

Hi! We just got engaged NYE but we have been discussing getting married for the past few months. I was previously married. We have been together for 3 years We have a little 15 month old We have about 200 people on the invite list because he has a HUGE family but know that most will not be able to make it. If they do OMG will I be in BIG trouble. (side note) We are planning the wedding September 2015, simple and fast no need to drag it all out. I do not expect my friends or family to throw us a shower, which I kind of feel bad for him. I don't want him to miss out on all the fun wedding things. Here is the question do you think if we put on the invitation (doing a boarding pass invite not a save the date) "registered at" just in case people who are not coming want to send us something? I really don't want them to think we want money, this could be more of a nice to have. Or even if someone on his family side decided to do a shower?

@@linaco80 yes something that shows all the items broken down and I can see what the costs will look like. Since it is so a -la- carte I am trying to compare it to other resorts to see which one makes the most sense... does that make sense??

@hapykat We were looking at Azul Sensatori or Azul Beach/ Dreams Tulum but honestly all the nickel and dime prices for everything is just freaking me out. Looking for budget planner sheets I have Dreams so I can compare all of them with Finest. I think Finest is more in our budget range... Thanks its our family christmas photo

anyone have a budget planning worksheet? We are going to go with Finest in Playa Mujeres since we can not do excellence we will have our 2 year old with us But from what I am hearing Finest will be exactly the same as excellence which is super excited. We just did site visits last week of a bunch of resorts loved Tulum but to far for our guests I feel bad. Beloved was also on our top lists.. but a little quiet so Finest seems to be just right. Now just looking for planning worksheets so I can compare it to one more resort we had on our list we liked Azul Sensatori because of the things they had for kids was really nice.

Does anyone have the wedding planner in another format of excel it is not opening up for me. Its on page 188 with a bunch of other documents. I am looking for a wedding planner excel document so I can figure out how much everything is. I am comparing between 3 resorts... UGH so confusing.

Hi all, anyone have a planner worksheet for excellence? We are 80% sure we are going to choose Finest which is all the same pricing as excellence. Our second option was Dreams Tulum I have a planning worksheet and need to compare... Please help!! anyone?

Do we think that the look and feel will be the same as excellence? I got to see beloved and it was great just a little to quiet for our group.
