So glad to hear Yanin is gone. I also wrote to them since I have 2 friends getting married here and it was because of my recommendation and how nice my wedding was. I hope Ludzary comes back she was the best! I ❤️ her she really went above and beyond to make everything perfect for us and if we had a problem she had a solution.

Yeah all weddings end at 11 do to noise control its a family resort. Ours ended at 11 and we all went to the club for an after party. The DJ was good we used Mania no problems I gave them a full play list. quote name="k4tee" post="1914400" timestamp="1465994212"]Hi, We're getting married at Finest in September after falling in love with it during a stay last June. Due to poor communication when we booked our wedding date we couldn't have our reception at Las Dunas so we are now going to be having it at the new Wedding Deck Venue. Has anyone had their wedding there by any chance? Or seen any events there? I have found the communication from the hotel following our stay a bit slow and patchy and after a huge hiccup due to the communication issues things seem back on track. However i have struggled with knowing what is fully included with their Excellence package when it comes to lighting at the venue/table clothes etc. If anyone can help i would appreciate it as with every email i don't get any answers or photos. We're really excited to get married at Finest following an amazing stay last year. I just wish the information they provided was more indepth and better so i wasnt so anxious about it. Thanks so much in advance

1. We ordered tables we did all rectangle tables. Most sat 12 with 2 or 3 that did 10 these are pretty standard sizes. Our table was smaller it was called the sweetheart table. 2. Welcome bags. Two options 1 you greet your guests and give them the bags. 2. Pay and let them do this. If your having something the first day your guests are coming tell them ahead of time. Gift bags could go anytime they get delivered to the room not given at check in. Some guests got them 9pm but they did get them the first day. It was easy to do this because I did not want to sit in the hall and wait for people to arrive. You have no idea how long it will take them to get from the airport to the hotel. We did this one day with only 5 guests attending and I waited 2 hours. For me it was worth the delivery. No issues all made it to the rooms. But I would tell your guest the itinerary before they go at least for the day they are arriving. It will resolve confusion and stress. We had a Facebook group so everyone had an idea. The more stuff you do and put together the more you have to manage. We kept it very simple very easy. So stress levels really were at minimum. Not a lot that anyone could mess up.

They do the deco during the day. No real set time. I sat with my WC and showed her the table set up, my center pieces needed to be set a certain way. I had a photo of the finish look I did it at home before to do that. Everything else was pretty straight forward. I gave her a floor plan of table numbers to go with what I made and I also had signs for the wedding ceremony I made and the readings I put on big cards for the readers. I brought table runners I did wood tables no table cloths. I also had setup for my welcome party. I brought table cloths that were the color of my wedding and I also had candles. I had photos for everything

I'm so sorry to read this. My experience was so great. We had Ludzary. We had some minor glitches, and T the beginning the time to get back was slow. What I learned was send one email at a time. Bullet point questions number them. Wait to send another email with more questions till you get that back. They do get confused by that. Once I started that communication answering was a week to two. And then once I got a month before it was faster. We met the coordinator the second day of our stay. She walked through everything. I made a ton of things and walked through that. They took everything. A day after the wedding they brought everything to me. I actually left a ton of stuff. I didn't need to bring back. I gave it to the maids. Hair and makeup no issues either. I didn't do a trial. I told them what I wanted and that I wear light makeup. The only thing was the person who I had for the appt was sick so they got someone from excellence. I think because I didn't do anything special it was good. I brought fake lashes and they did that. I have heard photo studio doesn't change packages anymore. I got lucky cause they did my trash the dress for the 24 photos. I also had my own photographer I brought from home for the 3 days and he took photos too while they were. To me it was worth the expense. My friend is getting married there next August they were at our wedding. I'm hoping they don't have the issues. I know my other friend on here has Yanin and I even emailed Barbara and said I recommend both couples and that it is very disappointing that they are getting this treatment. And that if I was them and could move the wedding I would. Sorry guys I hope it changes with the bad reviews. My mother in law fell the first day in the shower they are very slippery. She went to the hospital. They paid all the bills and cabs meds etc. we also had the insurance. We had a two year old so I got insurance no matter what. She had to get surgery when we came home. Lawyers told us dive out of the country they really couldn't do much. My opinion they should have compd her trip. They really didn't do much on that side. We had to move to the gazebo cause she was in a wheel chair and the beach would not have been a good choice. They made that happen no problem. This all changed the day before the wedding. Her knee was pretty messed up. They met the guests in the bar area they like to do this before the wedding and walk the guest to the wedding area. So if your doing a wedding flyer add that you'll let the guest know before the wedding where to meet. We saw the medic cause he has a habit of getting ear infections. No problems at all we did pay a payment to see the medic.

@@nyarcher1215 that's why I brought my photographer from home. It was so worth it. I got 3 days instead of just one day. My friends uses the beach studio for a photo shoot they did a great job. But for me I am a photo person so I just couldn't see paying for 1 day and for a little more I got 3 days. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hi girl! We had an aisle runner, seashells on the sides. Simple I brought rose petals fake ones from home for my flower girl. Amazing savings small pack We had the trio. Our friends said they were very nice. We weren't there at the cocktail we took all our photos so we'd be done and enjoy the rest.im sure if he goes up to them and asks for a song they will play. They were so nice. High tops were set up no charge for ours. But it could be because we did our cocky so right by the bar by the gazebo so they had them already there. We found it convient to do it there because people left the ceremony and went right to the bar. Keep in mind if you send people to go somewhere else they don't usually make it. Lol. After cocktail Luz walked all of them to sky bar we also before ceremony had everyone meet at the lobby bar and she walked all 55 of them to the ceremony. It was super organized. She told me that's how they do it. We didn't add any extra lights Only upgrade I did last minute was changed my tables and chairs to wood rectangle I like it better then round. This was Sept so I know things change. So I have heard so glad I brought my own photographer. I'll leave it at that.

@@mexiwedding I did family at table 1&2 so they put that next to us. The space was small enough that it didn't matter to us. Everyone coming was as important as family. I'm sure you can draft up seating chart like create your table then the table numbers you want next to you. I had 8 tables 4 on each side. That really stinks about the photographer. We didn't have to do that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk The men no shorts and no sandals. And they will turn people away it happened to us. No open sandals for men at the restaurants. For me very accommodating. They have GF options all over. And they had a special meal ready for me. Send your coordinator an email mine took care of it for the wedding and welcome party. Of course everything else was my responsibility at the restaurants to tell them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@@emmycita the package was for 24 photos. I told them I had a photographer already and wanted to use my photos for something else. I said a trash the dress shoot. They had no problem. I went directly to the photo studio not through the coordinator. If they didn't do it for me I would have fought them on it. No where when I was getting married did the package state it could not be adjusted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Someone on the boards gave me the person to get them from. I'll see if there is anyway I can find info. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk @@mexiwedding I had 50 people. I did photographer and added tables and chairs. With my flight and hotel 10 days we spent approx 18k. That included oot bags filled with stuff (not all of it was worth it) invites, my gown etx. We purchased lanterns from Ikea and brought them down with us. Put a candle inside. Tea lights on the table and added shells and fake rose petals on the runner. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk @@MrsDuru16 we booked before they opened so we may have had an even bigger discount. My friend booked them for a wedding in Dec of this year and she went with DW also. Lots of plus's like perks and not having to book your own guests. Worth the $50. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We did iPod for ceremony. Through a few songs like 3 just to have running incase I ran late. And the one song for me to walk into. Only decorations we did was the tables I got rectangle wood tables and wood chairs. I did candles on the tables with petals that I brought. I kept it simple. The costs were so expensive. Our alt location if it rained was one of the restaurants and the decor inside them was nice too. So it worked no matter what. The issue is you have to plan ahead so I just kept whatever I had at sky bar I'd have in the restaurant. No table cloths and white napkins. We did a burlap table runner on the table. Everything I brought from home we had two suitcases for supplies. I showed them how I wanted it they did everything. Not sure if the link to my photos is any where I'll grab it so you can see Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I flew him in for the weekend. Here is a link to my photos. He came on Fri left on Mon and what they quoted me in Mexico based on paying, air hotel and photo package it was worth it to get him 3 days. http://danmarinophoto.photoshelter.com/gallery-collection/Poracchio-Wedding-Sept-2015/C0000c6cj6bCoTe8 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't think you need it. Not one person thought it was dark. They have a kid menu pricing. They give you two choices. It was less then $45 a kid. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Our wedding colors were orange and blue. We did mostly orange with accents of blue. Bridesmaids wore orange and blue dresses 2/2 turned out yo me 2/1 cause my MOH was not allowed to fly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
