What has everybody done for table overlays and runners? Have you all brought your own overlays and table runners or have you all used the ones from Azul? I understand that the white table cloths are included but I want to use overlays and table runners as well.

@@soulgroovy where can you create your own stamps for less. I saw that you created them on zazzle.com. How many did you do? Also you mention you could have created them on your own somewhere. Where could I find that?

Hi Ladies, We put our deposit down for our room block and the 30 day window before our CC is charged is coming up and we still do not have many of our guest that say are def coming placing deposits down yet. My wedding planner says to continue sending out save the date emails and emails about the room block to remind them. I am not positive about doing this since it might seem to pushy. What creative ideas has everyone else done in this situation to get their guest to at least place a deposit down? -Carrie

ismyrneg@ismymeg. Choosing Azul Sensatori is def not a mistake. The vendor fee is the only negative you will find at Azul. There have been several ladies on this thread that have used the photographer vendors through Azul and some that have gone elsewhere and have been completely happy. I am thinking of using a photographer that is not a vendor approved and the photographer fee plus the vendor fee will cost the same as going with caribe photo. All in all it is about the service at the hotel and the service there is top notch. I would not worry that you are making a mistake -Carrie

@@Kimgal06 That is awesome to hear it was amazing even without the luxory packages. Sounds like you had a great time. Did you take advantage of the resort credit you received for your one year anniversary? My fiance and I already decided to go to the Azul Sensatori in Jamaica for our 1 year anniversary and we are not even getting married until October 17, 2015. That is how much we are loving the Azul resorts. I am having my reception at the Zavaz Plaza. The Zocola terrace looks beautiful, I bet that reception was awesome especially with the view it offers. Thank you to all on Photographer reference. The suggestions really helped and I am close to choosing who I want to Photograph our wedding. What about DJs? Did anybody just use the DJs that Azul has on their vendor preferred list? I keep seeing this advertisement for Mannia but if the DJs from the Azul vendor list is good I would not want to pay the vendor fee for this. -Carrie

Based on everyone's info I am going to end up just distributing them myself or have someone else hand them out at our welcome party. Even in the states I always find my friends stressing out Friday making sure all their guest get their welcome basket rather than greeting their guest and enjoying the beginning of their wedding weekend. @@kmk2016 chiffon was my initial thought too:) I have read that on a couple of articles I have found that chiffon was good for weddings by the beach. Originally I thought short but your idea makes me think that long is not a bad idea and some of my girls might want the long option. What type of fabric is everyone having their bridesmaids wear for their dresses? I want my bridesmaids to wear all the same fabric but I do not want them to wear a fabric that does not breath and they end up not looking very good because they are drenched in sweat. What fabrics has everyone used especially for the brides that have had weddings on the sky deck? -Carrie

Hi to all! I hope my question is not been answered or asked in the past week but I have been out of country for 8 days on vacation and just getting back to the wedding planning. Any brides that had their wedding or is going to have their ceremony on the skydeck, do you have your reception on the skydeck after or elsewhere? Tomorrow is dedicated to catching up in everything I missed. I believe one of the brides on here do get married this past Saturday so congrats to you(I will find out who you are tomorrow;)..and it was a sky deck wedding I am not mistaken? Carrie

Now I do see some of the past and future brides going with photographers other than karisma vendors. Those of you bringing in your own photographer, is the vendor from your hometown or someone in the area close to Azul sensatori? Carrie

To the past and future brides: I have read many brides plan on and have brought down their own decorations such as chair covers, vases and etc. for those of you that have done that did you just leave decorations behind after the wedding or did you designate someone to pick up everything you brought and put in your room?
