My top choice is to use the above runner a yellow overlay in lamour or organza and matching bows. If I do this I'll just use the white napkins provided. With this runner I really wouldn't need much for centerpieces just the candle holder lomas has I like. Would consider floating tea lights in addition that I really like. Below are the candle holders I am considering.

This is the table runner I am liking right now. Hopefully I can get a sample. Found it at bbjlinen.com. I think someone from the official EDR thread used this company too. @@AllieH by chance can you remember who used the vendor. Some of their stuff such has full table cloths are less expensive. @@linaco80 I was thinking about using this company for napkins if lomas charges way more. Bbj charges around 1.50 or so for different color napkins. Your welcome @@linaco80

@@linaco80 if I do overlays the material on the overlay and color will match the bows. Matching the materials I think just gives it a clean look plus that is what I have seen. If I just go with the runner I will make sure to match the runner material to the materials of the bows. So I would suggest matching the material of the runner and the sashes, it just gives a clean and connected look for a wedding:)

@@linaco80 I found submersible lights at www.birando.com not sure if Katy has them. I defiantly want to use them in centerpieces, it would help light up the table. I found a runner at bbjlinen.con I really liked that is mexican themed and has all my colors. I have a few ideas in my head so I am waiting til I go down in March to see what looks best. I can't decide if I want he runner on just white cloth and yellow napkins or the runner with a yellow overlay and white napkins or have the runner and alternate overlay color between yellow and my blue. With the different color of overlays I fear it would not look like a wedding but on the flip side I am going for very bright vibrant color... But lomas does have organza overlays so I think it would still look elegant eithereay

@@linaco80 go back to page 1827, for the fit throwies murmel posted instructions from a blog. There are some good articles on how to make them;) plus where to buy the supplies also thank you for posting the page number on the floating candles. @@AllieH I ordered the mango orange about a month ago to test our colors for parasols and that color is defiantly the Orange I am looking for. Thanks.

@@linaco80 I believe CJ said she used the same ones I just posted and used around 24-28. So if you use 8 and 12 inch you might to go upwards to 30-35 plus extra in case some break. That happened to me today:/ I actually only ordered what you see in the picture. I just wanted to get an idea of how it all looked. Depending on if I need a large amount I might go with orientaltrading since they sell them in sets of 6 for $10 or something inexpensive like that. #calgarybride2015 thank you for the sweet comment

I ordered some paper lanterns from paperlanternstore.com. These are the colors I am using and might mix in some white or rose quartz from lunabazaar.com The orange is not the orange I am looking for so I am ordering another orange from lunabazaar.com. I ordered 20inch, 16inch and 12inch. Not sure I am a fan of the 20 inch and might replace it with 14 inch so there is only 2 inch difference in the sizes. Also resting against the orange lantern are the fans I will have at each place setting at the reception and these fans come with an organza baggy that has a thank you tag. I will place LED throwies in these too. Once I make those I will post

Can anyone let me know the size of the cocktail tables for the cocktail hour? Also are the round tables 90" square feet or larger? Currently I am looking around for linens. On a different subject has anyone tried to use their complimentary dinner reservation at the Zavaz restaurant or does it have to be at Spoons? Since I am not using the free reservation for my reception I am using it for my bridal luncheon on Friday. -Carrie

I found this website for floating lanterns to use in the pool for the Plaza Zavas receptions. I saw the lanterns were $200 for 12 from Weddingsbylomas. You cant put their submersible tea lights and they come in different colors other than white. I think these might be nice to use. Here is the website. http://www.birando.com/Floating-Water-Lantern--White-Pattern-2-Pack_p_113.html This website even has stringed lights. -Carrie

Wow the yellow in silver/grey look beautiful and pulled it off very well at the wedding. Did you bring your own sheers or are those Azul's and how did they secure the parasols down to prevent them from flying away? It looks very cute did a very good job! -Carrie I am thinking about doing a rose petal aisle for my sky deck wedding, since it is so windy up there I am not sure if it's even worth the extra $110 since they could potentially blow around everywhere. Has everyone that had a wedding on the skydeck just left the aisle as is or has used the rose petal aisle? -Carrie

I am going to use the pick and choose menu for my reception but I am unsure if the plates are placed on the table and the servers pick up each plate to serve the course or no plates are on the table. My guess is the plates are not on the table and I just have to use the napkins as the menu holder... Can any past or future brides help me here? Thanks, Carrie

Search for photography vendors in the search box or under vendors and vendor reviews. We are looking at caribe and Samuel luna. Caribe photos looks very basic and they are actually about the same even with the $800 vendor fee for Samuel luna. What did you hear bad about caribe? I have heard mixed reviews.
