    I was in my friends wedding last summer, and it she did a sand ceremony. This wasn't a destination or beach wedding, and she still did it. I hadn't heard of them until seeing it in her wedding!

    Hey all, I am planning on doing the coiled wrist card holders for my cruise wedding next year. It is a stupid dilemma to have, but I cannot decide if I should get vertical or horizontal. Any suggestions?

    That's such a good idea about the makeup sponges! @@cfinkenbine, I could be saying this wrong, but I believe it is to symbolize your union. Once the two sands are blended, they cannot be separated, which should be the same for your marriage. I think thats what it's about

    I'm planning on getting into a "boot camp" style class at the gym. I need someone to tell me what to do, I don't know what i am doing if I just go to the gym myself. Also, I am motivated by others in the class. If I am tired and want to stop, but everyone else is still moving..it motivates me to keep going.

    I've looked into some picture frame sand holders for the sand ceremony. Has anyone else used these? My question is, does it get destroyed when you travel home? I can't imagine the sand stays in its perfect rows during the flights/travel.

    the "high low" dresses look aweful on me! I'm only 5ft tall, and they make me look even shorter. I saw a picture on Pinterest of a dress that is long for the ceremony and has a detachable bottom to make it short for the reception. I can't seem to find one anywhere though like that. Anyone heard of such a thing?

    I am only 5 feet tall, and never wear dresses that are floor length. A short dress is more me, I'm just scared I won't feel like a bride in one...

    I am highly considering a short wedding dress, since it will be sooo hot the day of the wedding, but I still have reservations. Anyone out there doing a short one also? Have pics? Or did you do a short dress and regret it? Ahhh..so many options!!

    I have accepted that as long as my parents and siblings are there I will be happy. Turks & Caicos are BEAUTIFUL! You will have a blast no matter who shoes up!
