To everyone that sent a luggage tag with your pre-travel mailers...did you send one per couple..or two?

I would like the luggage tag loops if they are still available!

I loveeee the first dress! If you order it, maybe keep looking for a backup option just in case. I would be nervous to give up the search waiting for that one and end up not liking it. Then you are back at square one and have given up all that time. Good luck, let us know how it works out!

@calgarybride2015 Yeah, I adore that dress! It is made by "House of Mooshki" which is located in London. I am on the hunt for something similar. I'm pretty set on having a lace top like that. I am trying to stear away from strapless, I am kind of busty and whenever I wear strappless dresses I feel like I am just pulling it up all nights. Fingers crossed that I find a dress soon!

Well, my wedding is 7 months away and I still haven't found a dress! I have been to a few bridal shops, but they do not nave much of a selection when it comes to short dresses. I have not been to Davids Bridal yet, and honestly was trying to avoid it due to a few friends having a bad experience there. I just checked their website and they do have quite a selection of short dresses that are definitly within my price point. Heading there next week...hope to finally find my dress! This dress is my inspiration.... hoping to find something similar!

I have publisher on my computer so I have been playing around with making my own. I was wondering..what font did you use? I love it! I've played around with a few fonts but I don't like any of them as much as yours. Thanks in advance!

My wedding reservations are so confusing. I am the 1% of people on this board that is doing a cruise wedding...getting married in Bermuda. So half of my guests are taking the cruise, and the other half are booking on the island and both have different deadlines. I'm hoping that it was okay picking June 1st as the RSVP deadline. I'm pretty sure people would know if they are going or not by then. Need to start researching how to make up my pre-travel mailers! I plan on sending a luggage tag and map of Bermuda, but I need to design some sort of brochure. I'm not that good at designing...hopefully it works out!

Well, it took me a long time but I finally got through your entire thread! You have done an AWESOME job! Everything really looks amazing put together. Well I guess I screwed this up just checked with my travel agent and last day to pay is May 7th and when I ordered the invitations I set the RSVP deadline at June 1st. Hopefully this doesn't confuse people! @@jsparrow10 I see you are from Akron. I live not for from there near Cleveland. And go to school in Kent. Small world

Hi all, haven't been on here for a few months. Starting to get back into the planning swing again. My save the dates have been sent out, and I just ordered my invitations. The site we were looking at for the invitations had a 30% off sale for black Friday so we jumped and ordered them super early. The wedding is still about 7 months away. I read that for traditional weddings you send out invites about 6-8wks before the wedding, and that for destination weddings you send them much earlier. How early? 3 months? And did anyone do a pre-wedding mailer to the guests that RSVP? I was thinking of sending maps or information about the island. Thanks!!

This thread is so long, but so useful! One day ill,get through them all. Does any past brides regret doing the door hangers? Seems like a lot of work for something that will never be used again. Ive considered making them..but still undecided.

I really like the idea of adding something related to the location. A popular Mexican candy or food would be a great addition, and more personalized for the trip.

@@stefadile thank you for sharing!! I keep trying to google image shorter girls in wedding dresses but only get images of short dresses, not short girls : ). I've always been worried I'll look like a 12yr old in a wedding dress. I LOVE the tea length style of yours!!

I just joined BDW a few weeks ago and was very anxious to get to 150. Felt I had to comment on everything. After a week of constant posting I finally slowed down and realized I'll get there when I get there. I absolutely love these boards. Everyone is so welcoming, friendly, and quick to share!
