September 9, 2014- Istanbul Turkey On a beautiful breezy night we made our way to the docks to meet our boat that would be taking us over to the famous Maiden’s Tower for dinner. Needless to say we made it safely to the tower, seas were rough that night. We then stepped off the boat onto the dock and were amazed to be standing in front of such a historical place. We made our way inside to a special table set up for us by the sea level window. We ate a very nice dinner with Keith’s parents and enjoyed great food and conversation. After dinner Keith asked if I wanted to take some pictures from the top of the tower as it was such a beautiful view especially at night. We made our way up the winding stairs to the terrace that wraps around the top of the tower... It was breath taking to say the least. We started taking pictures of the beautiful views when suddenly Keith grabbed my hand, pulled out the ring and looked me in the eyes and asked me to spend forever with him. Of course, I said Yes and immediately fireworks burst into the air behind me (which wasn’t planned lol) from a little boat on the sea. On a tiny island at the top of a 2700 year old tower in Istanbul, Turkey, Where two continents collide, two major seas meet, two people from two different countries committed to spend forever together.
