    Totally agree. It's funny how much the "rules" have changed. Or rather, how there are no specified "rules" anymore. Invite whoever you would like to your shower.

    This is an interesting situation. Hmm.. If they are making a vacation out of it, that's great! But you really shouldn't feel obligated to extend an invite to people you weren't intending on inviting. I think plus ones and then inviting other family are two different things. I expect that my guest list will increase because of plus ones. But I hadn't thought about if people bring others people as well as part of their vacation. As I said before. This is an interesting one.

    I didn't care too much about it at first either. But now I'm seeing all these wonderful videos and am getting excited for it! I have a similar package where the ceremony is included. I'll have to see what kind of costs we're looking at by having some of the reception recorded.

    Check with your WC. I was told that I wouldn't be charged a fee for set up. This also includes any items that I bring for them to set up. Within reason, of course.

    Hahaha at "well at least you fiance didn't RSVP he isn't coming" @@SamanthaC, sorry you are going through this. I am having some people drop out as well and it certainly is upsetting. Try not to let that put a damper on your special day. You are marrying your love. And as long as you are there and he is there, that's all you really need to get married!
