  1. If you go on theknot.com, you can browse dresses and filter using a price range. One dollar sign - $ - represents dresses that are $600 or less.
  2. Since the summer clothes are on sale now as the stores are bringing out their fall/winter gear, I'll be picking up some new summer items since they are on clearance.
  3. That's a cute way of phrasing it. Thank you for sharing that idea!
  4. This is great info. Thank you for those who made recommendations!
  5. @@TinkerSofi, Absolutely. That 1 person free value spread amongst a few people is a nice savings!
  6. @@calgarybride2015, LOL it is! @@TinkerSofi, that's so exciting that you'll have so many guests joining. And that's great news that family from Argentina will be able to join, especially that it will cost them less than anticipated!
  7. I agree. It's whatever you'd like. I too considered not having a bridal party at all because I was concerned about the added costs to our bridal party. Ultimately we had to remind ourselves that this is our once in a lifetime wedding and we most certainly wanted our bridal party at our sides. And after speaking with everyone, they were genuinely excited to be a part of our day. We will try to cover as much as possible - hair/makeup, accessories, etc.
  8. Totally agree with this. We are trying to do a group activity but would like to keep it cost effective as it's something that we would like to cover the cost for.
  9. Have her find out her due date. As other mentioned, some airlines won't even let pregnant women fly after 36 weeks. At the end of the day, it is up to her to make the decision based what the best, and healthiest, option will be. With so much great technology these days, you can always skype her in or video stream the wedding to her so she can feel like she's there.
  10. I can relate as I'm having some family dropping out because a DW is just too much for them. I'm glad to hear that they are being more supportive now. As many have said, at some point, we have to realize that we can't please everyone 100%.
