He got Perry Ellis linen suit through Macy's , it was on crazy sale like 100 dollars total. They Also had it on the site 6pm.com. We got ties from Amazon from tie bar like 15$ , nice coral ones

It's hard for sure. At first I was upset at all the nos. now I'm more upset at the people who didn't bother to say anything at all. It is frustrating when you see them take trips ( um one friend is going on a yoga retreat to the same city a month prior!) and spend money and think, wow I guess it wasn't worth it to them. But then I think of the other people that are spending money and effort to come and I need to feel happy about that. I still get to have my dream wedding and vacation, what more could I really want?

I know! I love the people on here. I love how I can vent and people understand. I thought about Kim today and how much fun she must be having right now! It's nice that you are giving back and giving other people advice

I struggled a lot. My wedding is two months away and still waiting on ten people ( these are not even the people who never answered but we knew wouldn't come anyways). Feb 1 that's it . My advice to u right now is to skip the mass reminder and personally contact everyone whether it's you or some other family member and gage interest and what people are waiting on. For instance I don't find out my yearly vacation schedule until a few months before so finding out these things are useful. This is also time to convey WHY it's important to you to know by the date. What I've found out is a lot of people don't start planning for these things til way too last minute and it has been a pain

I know! They think that they can just decide whenever, because it's their vacation but they don't even think about me, frantically trying to plan things! It is beyond rude

I wouldn't recommend the groupon. I bought two then I realized I coukdntbuse them along w vistas other deals. I could have had the same savings with the other deals they put on. Thus I was left with another groupon I didn't need and spent it on crap I didn't need to make because it was going to expire

@@TaraMarie33 this is what I did and I find it perfectly acceptable bc people should def be allowed their SOs but I don't want their random friends. Of course one already asked a random person so people are going to do what they want I guess

Depending on how you're feeling in a few days I would prob give her a heads up before you release the room since she may not decide to come thus not wasting money on a flight. But that was horrid of her to say so maybe she had it coming.

I've always wondered about tipping stylists that are self employed. They are setting their own rate so part of me feels like that's fair game and no extra necessary. I always thought tips were for people who have to pay out a chunk to employer/make up to make a fair wage. That being said it is always nice I'm sure In this case I think it depends on your relationship with her. If you're friebds I actually wouldnt bc you are already paying for her stay ( I would give a TY card and trinket) however if you have a more business relationship I would tip bc in this case the travel and stay are part of the work deal and shouldn't be looked at as bonuses. iMO

@@TinkerSofi yeah it's amazing how my friends who have little salaries are making the effort and expense to come and the six figure people are crying out "no money"! I Know I can't judge where people are spending their money but when someone you thought was one of your best friends is posting pictures of their new thousands of dollars toy on FB and told u they were too poor ( this was said over a year ago w no effort to try to save and come) to come it feels pretty crappy. But they are the ones missing out and may one day feel guilty; I dont have that to deal with!

Yeah I started crossfit at the end of last summer, I definitely notice more muscles but I really need to at least the ten pounds I put on last year in the next two months for the wedding! Then my new muscles will be more defined. I am the worst dieter though . I don't eat super unhealthy but it all ends up adding up

It sounds like she will not have enough money to cover the room if she is borrowing money from you already. Plus if her bf is a loser he prob won't eother it doesn't sound like you like her enough now to shell out extra money ( I'm paying for a friends room but only bc I HAVE to have her there) so likely she won't be able to come. But what you offered her was very generous so you shouldn't feel bad. Arranging peoples travel and rooms has been most of the wedding stress for me !

Haha I've had dreams where the ceremony is about to start and I haven't gotten my dress altered or my flowers. Last night I had a dream I randomly for no reason legally married someone I talked to once online and was trying to figure out how to anul it to marry my real fiancé!

I have a cheaper veil and it was all scrunched up. I took it out and there are many wrinkles. Should I just hang it up in hot shower, steam it, iron it? Help!

Yeah the lack of manners is appalling. It ends up putting people in a very awkward situation. i didn't realize what a strain this would have on my relationships with other people!

Is there a way to compromise, say at a bigger place that is not a hall, like one of your favorite restaurants? Or does someone have a bigger home?

I think just saying there is no way possible to add anyone else due to it being far after the rsvp date should take care of the problem perfectly!
