I plan on buying maracas in Mexico, but yes, I want tumblers. That , plus other OOT bag items, centerpieces, possibly fake flowers, etc makes me nervous how many suitcases I will need. Plus I feel like I will want to bring so many clothes because I want to look cute during the week and won't be able to decide what to bring. I was thinking of maybe getting a credit card for whatever airlines I take, and that would allow me to check something for free.

Haha I guess that I don't want them to bring china to my wedding. I am planning to register and have an AHR (although I would not expect to get gifts here because it is not my wedding), since a family member may be insisting on having a shower. I understand what people are saying about guests spending a lot of money to come. In the end I don't care if I get gifts or not, I just hope I have an awesome time.

i didnt realize how many people are requesting no gifts! I don't expect gifts and I barely have enough guests to get much, but I guess I figure people will bring a gift or not, I know people are paying a lot for the wedding but most of my guests that are coming are considering this their vacation so I feel like they would want to bring a gift. To be honest, I would feel sad if I didn't get a few things like some wedding china or sentimental things- my mom still brings out her wedding china and tells me story about plates and other stuff she got from their wedding. I care about this stuff more than money.

how many pieces of luggage are you going to bring for wedding stuff- or are you integrating it into other luggage? Are people in your family willing to help? Did you feel overwhelemed with all the luggage you are bringing? Are you planning to leave stuff at the resort and putting suitcases into suitcases to bring back? Anyone considering upgrading to first class to get more checked luggage- how much is the increase in fee usually?

it is probably one of those things where it is illegal to bring starfish in, but the fact of the matter is customs is hit or miss, so there are probably more times than not you would just squeak past

I couldn't find a magnet save the date I liked that was on the cheaper side so I ended up finding a very cute save the date that is a normal cardstock one, and buying a roll of magnet tape from amazon for like 7$, and cutting little strips to put on the back. You barely needed any magnet to get it to stick. So I had the best of both worlds, and I see it hanging on all my friends' fridges! The uploaded image is the sample of the STD (the back has room for another picture and I wrote a small note about booking rooms and put the magnets above and below this) I got the save the date from invitationconsultants.com- good service, gave me some extra

i didn't go through it too much because I wasn't ready to create a full one yet- i just picked one of the first sites i found when googling and made a small one which looked great. i bet you could though!

ugh, i feel like I am in the same boat as so many. I get so frustrated when people say they arent coming due to finances when they have more money then some of the rest of my friends and spend it on stupid stuff. I wish people could get it toegether and come!
