  1. I agree, if she would be invited to the brunch you must have some type of relationship with her... Like kmk2016 said if she doesn't want to go she will figure out a way. At least you will have done your part.
  2. LOVE the dress so elegant! I would also explore sewing in the cups. Might be more comfy than a stick on bra, although some do have padding and push ups, my niece got one for her prom and she said it was very comfortable. Good luck for the tan
  3. What kind of flowers do you want in your bouquet? I'm not sure about the Costco in Mexico, but I know for a fact that here in Montreal, the quality of the flowers is not always good. My sister has on several occasions made bouquets, and a few times when she ordered them from Costco, half of them were not usable.... just something to think of. But you are there for a few days before, so you could always check out local flower shops and then assemble them yourself. Practice first!
  4. Great ideas. Love the idea of guests participating with the sand. Must've been very emotional.
  5. In my opinion I don't see the big deal if he comes. I understand she is frustrated, I would probably be as well. They will have been dating for 7 months by your wedding. What if she ends up marrying him? Wouldn't you feel like you left him out of something he could've been apart of? And what is your fiances opinion on this?
  6. Oh that's nice. Great if people actually do mail them back!
  7. Oh absolutely! The fact he proposed with this ring means so much to both of us. And I want it on my finger everyday for the rest of my life. Just a matter of deciding on which hand. When he proposed he thought for sure the ring would be too small, his mother was very petite, but it was a perfect fit. We couldn't believe it. It was like it was meant to be!
  8. I am looking for an original way to ask my future sister in law to be a bridesmaid. We do not see each other very often, I live in Canada and she lives in California. but we get along great. We will see each other over christmas time and want to ask her in person. We both love wine, so I was thinking a bottle of her favorite wine with a personalized label. Just looking for ideas or good sites to order them from. Thank you for your input!
  9. Thank you Allie, and you are right there is not right or wrong. I guess I will wait until we meet up with his fathers friend who is a jeweler, he will probably have great ideas for us.
  10. Great idea... this is definitely going into my favorites!
  11. Wine! lots of it! My sister had a phobia of flying. She did not do a phobia related therapy, but one specific for fear of flying. They specifically addressed the mechanics of an aircraft, the crew, what turbulence is and so on and so forth. And for the past 10 years or so she can fly without panicking. But Wine does help! Good luck!
  12. I agree with calgarybride ask your fiance, you might surprised he might be happy having them in the wedding party. Try not to stress about it so much... it's your day! Enjoy it.
  13. Aww love that idea my ex sisiter in law did that for her 2nd wedding, and her son was so proud to walk her down the aisle.
  14. Hello, I just recently got engaged, and my wonderful Fiance proposed using a ring his mother that just passed away last November has left for him to give to the woman he chose to marry. I absolutely love it as it is very meaningful to both of us and his family. It has a pearl and 8 diamonds around it. He said that if I want I can get my diamond ring when we get married and wear that ring on the other hand. However I was thinking that maybe I would want to have my wedding band fit with the ring he proposed with... I just keep going back and forth about it. Does anyone have advice on this?
  15. Oh thank you for the tip... I didn't think of that, when the time comes I will be sure to check that out!
  16. My future father in law lives in Bonita Springs. I am looking for a resort that will offer us a good deal on rooms for our guests. I am planning a simple, elegant wedding. Perhaps a late afternoon ceremony followed by a cocktail. If you have any suggestion I would be so grateful. So difficult to plan without being onsite. Thank you
  17. One idea I have is chinese wish lanterns. It can be really pretty as well as thoughtful for the guests http://www.wishlantern.com/wedding-wish-lantern-packages
  18. Hello, I am a Canadian marrying my American Fiance, therefore I need to apply for a fiance visa. Long story short... once I enter the USA we have 90 days to get married. We are planning a beach wedding in Southwest Florida. However for a few months and until I adjust my status I am not able to leave the U.S. I am just wondering if any of you have suggestion for a honeymoon in that area. What I really want is somewhere quiet where we will not be on a crowded beach. A small bungalow with all the services would be great! We will need to relax and be alone for a few days. Any input?!?
  19. One song I absolutely love is this version of 'Can't help falling in love with you' http://www.youtube.com/watchv=5sQeQC4hT10 But I also like the idea of a simple string guitar playing, I guess it is just another decision to make!
  20. I am all for tradition in most cases, but whoever you choose to walk you down the aisle is up to you. It should be meaningful to you and the ones walking you down the aisle. It is sad that your father is missing out on it, but you seem to have people around you that care. Cherish them and be happy on your special day!
  21. HI, I am currently looking at a dress I really like from babyonline through dhgates. Anyone have experience with them? My main concern is the beading... that it might not be the same. However it is quite cheap, and if ever I do not like it it wouldn't the end of the world... I could always try selling it. Just looking for some feedback. Thank you
  22. I love the barefoot sandals too. It is a great way to be comfy and add some bling. I love Etsy for all things and they have gorgeous barefoot sandals. My issue with not wearing heels is I am only 5 feet! I always wear heels, but walking in the sand with heels is hard. Still not sure what I will do.
