There are quite a few templates I want to see! Boooo to being so far away from 150!

I really do feel like reaching 150 is going to take me forever!!

My Fi and I have started saving at the end of each week we both just contribute what we have left.

At the moment I dont think we will be having a dj either. I just cant justify the money on one right now. Part of the reason for us to have a DW is to make it simplistic, and since we are paying, make it something we can afford. My best friend has always said he wants to become a dj on the side. Perhaps I will try to convince him that I could be his first customer.

On my invite list there are people who have significant others that will not be attending (their choice), and I am not sure if I should still address the invite to both? My best friend is currently single, but things could change and I want him to feel free to bring someone if he does meet someone in the meantime. I feel like at the moment we have more singles and ' its complicated' than couples.

I am stuck on blue and orange accents. However, I keep flipping back and forth when it comes to shades of blue. Light for sure, but I am unable to pick an exact colour.

Although I do not remember my FI and I having this conversation, I feel like it is assumed that I will take his last name. But I too like my last name. Hmmm. Might be time to have this talk.

Half the time I feel like what I want to say has been said and I dont want to be that person that keeps repeating. Haha

I have been thinking a lot lately about how to address the invites to those of my guests who are single. Did you address it to Jane/John Smith and guest? Or did you just figure it was implied that they would bring a guest? Or did you just address it to Jane/John Smith and wait for them to ask you if they would bring a guest?

@@kcole123 My FI and I really want to get married in Punta Cana even though neither of us has been there), and when I was researching I just happened to come across it. Like you I check trip advisor and all off the reviews seem decent to me and from this years prices, the price seems right for us. So we added it to our list of places. Once we hear back from the TA we will make our final decision.

@@kcole123 I can relate to your TA issues. I havent even been able to get one to find me a resort yet. I talk to them for a while, and then I go over a week without contact. All I want is a quote and to pick my place! Ahhh. However, I did notice that you are getting married at the Melia Caribe. At the moment that is 1 of 2 options for my FI and I. How is your planning going with the resort???

At the moment it looks like my FI and I are leaning towards this resort for our wedding in Nov 2015.

I love these!!! I could not download the templates yet due to my lack of posts, but when I showed them to my FI he played around with the computer, and it ended up looking very similar to these!!! Couldnt be happier! Thank you!!

My FI and I have not locked down a location yet (ahhhh! ) but we had originally hoped for PPC. However when we got the quote back from the original TA we ruled it out do to the cost. Reading this forum makes me want to reconsider. ...

I am also finding that a lot of my friends and family do not understand the work that goes into a DW. The common belief is that its all inclusive so they dont seem to think it takes effort to plan a DW. This site has helped a lot in planning, getting ideas and making me feel 'normal' when it comes to the emotions felt while planning a DW. AHAH

I am fortunate enough to have my FI friend who is taking our photos, for free. She enjoys taking photos as a hobby, and we recently had an engagement session with her and loved her style. Although she wont take money for the photos, we are finding creative ways to say thank you (we bought her a family pass to the local zoo for the engagement photos). Other ways we are cutting down is the OOT bags. We are working on ways to include a cute survival kit style bag. I know everyone thinks that sunscreen is a staple for people who travel, and most people bring it themselves (and I agree), but I found packets of sunscreen for cheap, so I am going to include those. I also found an app on my phone to track my budget, that seems to help!

I am also worried about tan lines. I tend to burn, no matter how many times I apply sunscreen! I am planning on going tanning in a salon in the months leading up to the wedding.
