  1. @@calgarybride2015 There is actually a Dollar Tree in my area, but the travel section is not great. I have been checking regularly, but still have yet to see aloe.
  2. @@kmk2016 I believe that the app I have takes me to the sales that the store where I live is having? I am not sure what the difference between the app and website are to be honest.

@@MJTK Thank you!. I cant wait to be able to see things. Now to remember what I was interested in viewing. ahah. My FI and I are planning a trip across the boarder shortly so we can comparison shop. In the end with the price of gas I am sure shipping will end up being cheaper. LOL
  4. Woo Hoo. If I planned it right, this should be post 151!!!! I can not even describe how excited I am! lol And I am no longer a NOOB. WOOo HOOO lol
  5. @@kmk2016 Thank you for the suggestion. I do have the app on my phone that I use, however, my mom, and future mother in law are not tech savy and still have very old phones so I do need some coupons for them.

@@MJTK I feel your pain when it comes to not being able to find things that ship to Canada. It seems that everything I find is US only. It is very frustrating. My FIs friend has a P.O Box just across the boarder, and has offered to pick a couple things up from there if needed, but I really want to keep the OOT bags a surprise... My fingers are crossed for you!!
  7. Are you planning for a legal ceremony in Cuba? I am just wondering if the 'witnesses' have to be non blood relatives if it is just a symbolic wedding?
  8. My family and I were just discussing this last night at dinner. Tipping is something I do typically, but I hadnt even really thought about tipping at the wedding until I found these threads. So many little things that I didnt even think of are being added to my list.
  9. First thing we bought were shadow boxes from Michaels to frame our engagement souvenirs but when we went they were having a buy one get one sale, so we purchased one to use as part of our wedding...somehow.
  10. I have every one I know giving me coupons for Michaels. It is amazing. I am sure they will eventually know me by name. lol
  11. We were dating for 19 months before we got engaged. We are planning on getting married on our 3rd anniversary. *Fingers Crossed*
  12. This is a very cute idea. I love that it just adds a little personal touch. Thank you for sharing.
  13. @@Lilian84 I will let her know! Ha ha @@Icis I wish I could see your pictures....almost there!
  14. Getting them at Michaels with the 40% off coupon is an awesome idea! Since I started planning this wedding, I feel like I love at Michaels. We were only planning on incorporating the glow sticks for the children, but after reading this, I will give everyone glow sticks.
  15. @@Lilian84 My mom suggested making a 'cheap one.' Perhaps I will pass your information along to her. haha. My SIL also offered up hers for me to borrow. I do not know why exactly that I feel so strongly about not having one. I do agree with you about it looking beautiful in pictures.
  16. @@kmk2016 I love this idea!!! I think I will try and do something similar! Thank you for sharing.
  17. This is a great idea. I have never heard about this.
  18. @@Lilian84 The veil made me feel like I was wasting money (that I could be putting into my dress), and that I was being pressured into it because most people this it is tradition. I plan on doing a simple beachy/every day me, hair style, and I want it that way so the focus is on the dress, not my veil. It was painful at times, and just irritating to constantly have to push back all the time. If I feel that way after maybe, 5 minutes max, I could only imagine how much I would hate it all day. One more post closer! ahah
  19. @@Lilian84 I couldnt agree more. I often say to my FI that I can not wait until we are living together, and do not have to drive back and forth all the time. It is getting very exhausting.
  20. I went to try on wedding dresses for the first time this week, and all of the bridal store people looked at me strange when I told them I didnt want a veil. When I was in a dress that I was uncertain about, and they were " jacking me up" to help with the decision, they always wanted to try it with a veil. I gave in once, just to see, and I didnt feel any more like a bride than I did without the veil.
  21. I also get caught all the time looking at my ring. Half the time I dont even realize I am doing it. My FI is awesome. I cant want to have the ultimate OMG moment when I am saying my vows.
  22. I agree with @@Sabes44. I love the idea of just the two of us being at the front. To me it brings the intimacy level to a whole new level.
  23. The Michigan race in June. He proposed on the start/finish line. He has been going for about 15 years to the race and this year was only my second year. It is hard to remain a optimistic about the sport when they are constantly changing everything! Anyway, he is a Gordon fan ( his one big fault. Ahah jk) and I am a Jr fan.
