  1. Congrats you're in the right place for help. So much information and review.
  2. @@DZweds Congrats I know choosing a hotel was hard. ***Read all the small print. Look out for addl fees
  3. @@FutureMrsGlover I really wish I could see your boarding passes. I have been on all day attempting to increase my post. This feels like my online classes lol @@Tatimrivera thanks for the info. @@MomentsThatMatter have seen your work on other forums. You do a great job! Thanks everybody for all the advice and continued response I greatly appreciate it.
  4. Congrats and welcome to the forum. All of the brides that I have communicated with are very nice and informative. You'll find almost everything you need from this site. Happy Planning
  5. @budgetbride I can completely understand my family is huge. And my guest list is over 200 but I only expect about 50 the most. But I will be sick to the stomach if more than that comes. LOL.
  6. @@carolflannery1 I suggest you start a new forum or search for an Irish forum. I have found a lot of information by just looking for certain things like videographers. Hope you find what you're looking for.
  7. I'm in the same boat. I've been on hear most of the day. @@pamelas21 you're already there. @@helenk how are you going with the planning? @@Sara1603 I know how you feel. I been here all day and have learned so much. Now I just read all the unread topics. lol even if it doesn't apply. @@JaxBchKay Im really on the budget and don't want to pay the $30.00 but I feel like giving in. Lol
  8. @@Lorentba First thing congrats!!!! Now to all the planning. First you need to contact the hotel and see if your date is available. If you have done so read the contract thoroughly and review any outside vendor fees. Second don't just jump on the first TA do some research and have different agencies contact the hotel and get rates. You would be surprise to see the difference in prices Start looking for photographers and videographers. picked a theme/colors Did you pick your bridal party/ Save the dates, ***As soon as you get TA I would suggest sending that out so guest can start making payments towards the trip. WELCOME AND CONGRATS!
  9. I def agree. Photo is very important to me so I'm not going with the hotel photographer.
  10. So glad you were able to get another photographer. I just looked at Brain Needley's page. His work is awesome. Thank you!
  11. jeffandrobyn, I suggest going to all the properties and looking at which one will give you the best for your buck. Some hotels charge a lot of outside vendor fees. So I would bring up that when you go to the actual property. Also go to trip advisor and read some reviews their from past guest as well.
  12. Good luck ladies Read all contracts especially when it comes to outside vendors. Happy Planning!
  13. @@krystinsanchez37 if you're going with a hotel I personally wouldn't. Only because they provide wedding coordinators. and I agree with LisaAnthonyPoppy you can do all the research on your own and compare. I have actually found a lot of vendors here and are still in comparison. You can also think about brining your own vendors from your own town.
  14. @@LisaAnthonyPoppy I'm happy you got it in writing. And you are now satisfied, the last thing you want to be worried about is not having what you want.
  15. @@LisaAnthonyPoppy I've been to Mexico on a cruise and had a blast. I do agree that the people were nice. Yes, I went to Jamaica and fell in love at the hotel I stayed at and I seen a wedding there. It was so beautiful that I wanted to have mine there not knowing it would be sooner than later. I've been to a few countries and Jamaica is my favorite so far.
  16. they come in 4ft, 6ft, and 8ft most places have 6ft ad 8ft If you can put two tables together to get one huge square table you can order 132 round table cloths. It looks so elegant.
  17. Congrats ladies. Not getting married here but reading all the new unread topic. And I notice with each hotel is always a question about vendors. I suggest reading the contract to confirm all the charges. Good Luck planning!
