I rang my travel agent this morning to check for confirmation again and spoke to a different lady who told me that my paperwork was sent off 4 weeks ago! Not 9 weeks ago when I submitted it! I'm flipping fuming!! Arghh, she said she's going to put a 'chase' on it! I'm so pissed I don't know whether to laugh or cry! Feel like everything is totally up in the air and for a person who needs to know everything and plan to the finest detail, I actually carn't bare it!

@@kmk2016 when you get the confirmation do they send all the info through at the same time?

Well I'm shitting it because I've only booked the always and forever package part, and I'm still waiting on confirmation of date! I did get in touch with the Miami office last week and Lynda Gomez said confirmation should be coming through soon. But I haven't booked anything else so they won't be obliged to honour any banquet prices if I haven't booked any yet will they? Oh dear I feel bloody ill!

Just came across this banquet brochure http://www.weddingsbylomastravel.com/planning/Weddings_Banquet_kit_2014.pdf and the prices are totally different to the one I have originally being looking at. The 'family style' has gone from $38.00 to $89.00!! What's this about?!

I found the azul fives weddings email on the website. A lady called Lynda Gomez replied to say yes she's received all the right paperwork and I should get confirmation very shortly through my travel agent. X

Ah ok. What are you doing for decoration for the ceremony then? And just touching on what you said about the $1700 cost for the terrace; is this still applicable even if it's just the reception we're wanting up there. Sorry for all the questions btw! Just getting so bloody frustrated with not being able to know the ins and outs of everything!! Hopefully I'll push things along tomorrow when I call the TA! X Ladies who are opting for the garden/pool reception; could you please post some info/pics of what you know? X

Haha @@TinkerSofi I wish it included the trip! It's $7138.26 just for me my fiancé!! Oh and yes it's including the memorable moments deco for the ceremony. X

I called my travel agent this morning to see if the hotel had been in touch about confirming the wedding date and she said apparently the hotel is extremely busy so there's a delay In confirmation! wish the would bloody hurry up it's been 8 weeks! Also I think pricing is totally different here for UK customers travel agent said for the always and forever, memorable moments with beach ceremony and sky terrace reception is £4000 which works out about $6800 that's without food and drink... This doesn't seem to be what you guys are paying right??.. X

@@TinkerSofi how much is the amplifier? The 4 hours international bar that's included with the food;do you (or any of you ladies) know if there is an option to extend? Don't want to feel rushed! I would just like it to flow naturally as apposed to checking the clock all the time! I want to party! Haha x

@@TinkerSofi aw will probs bump into you then as we don't leave until the 18th is the Petit Gourmet menu buffet style or served to you? I was looking at that menu and the family style dinner ($39pp) I haven't been assigned a wedding coordinator as of yet so have about a million questions lol. Have you opted for a DJ? What do they do for a dance floor area up there? Thanks for the PM I'm going to check it out now! Oh and the $1700 is that for the memorable moments package or is that just an additional charge to have the reception up there?x

Hi Ladies, so thrilled to come across this group. I paid deposit about 7 weeks ago and requested the date August 8th 2015. We decided on the beach wedding ceremony as the whole idea of a destination wedding to us had to include the beach! Especially since we are all travelling from England. We initially where going to go with the beach reception but now I've seen the pic of the sky area ^^ further up the thread I totally want this!! Don't know how it works with you guys but we have to pay £729 for the always and forever and then £1760 for the memorable moments plus £150 for each table at the reception the around £23.00pp for food and 4 hours international open bar. We have about 35 guests so if I opted for the sky deck reception is that $15.00 extra pperson? Also what are you guys paying for video and photography if you don't mind me asking? anyone looked at the company Blue lens caribe? I've been quoted $4000 which seems a bit ridiculous, but there work Is amazing!
