    I have been wondering the same thing. We sent save the dates about 10 months before (after already emailing or talking to our guests) and only a handful have booked. I was planning to send the invitations out early next year. However I just found out the last day to drop rooms in our room block with out being penalized is 2/21/2015, so I now want to get the invitations out in November so we don't get stuck with extra rooms.

    What a great welcome bag!! I have been trying to figure out what I want to put in mine without breaking the bank. Of course my fiance wants to keep adding stuff, so I have to delete other things to keep on budget.

    I didn't realize we get to choose entree choices, I thought it was just one selection for everyone, unless someone has dietary restrictions? Were is everyone planning on having their cocktail reception? Orginally we were thinking the pier but Jessica just told me X Lounge is also available and after seeing the pictures I might be leaning that way.

    I love candles too! Definitely want to do something with candles. I think I finally picked my colors, so that has been helping with ideas and not feeling so lost!

    Good advice, that is what I was thinking. If it is a firm no (aka will have a newborn or already had another trip booked) then I won't. But if its probably no, I'll send one just in case. Thanks! Just wanted to make sure I wasn't being rude if I didn't send one to everyone.

    Have any of the upcoming brides picked your bouquet or any additional decor? I am having a hard time picking anything at this point. Maybe because I haven't even picked colors....?

    I put Riviera Maya, MX on the save the dates too. Since I too thought most people kinda know where that is. Although everyone just says Cancun anyways.

    Have you found any other more reasonable photographers? So far the only ones I have found are a lot more expensive. We are getting a photographer to capture our legal wedding as well and have 2 photographers in the group. So, I want to make sure I have great pictures, but not over pay for pictures that I don't need.

    That's a cute idea! I was just thinking about cuff links. Or a watch, although he isn't a "watch person" but I guess used to be, till the last one broke.

    That is a great question @@MorganRene, I have no idea what I want lol. Maybe jewelry, but something that would remind me/be significant to our wedding.

    Welcome and congrats! This is a great website and I am soooo glad I found it. As everyone else had mentioned first pick your resort and I definitely recommend working with a travel agent. I used destinationweddings.com which are good and I got a great rate. But I had also done a TON of research prior and pretty much had already decided which resort I wanted, just really needed a TA to help book others and get better rates. I also recommend Wright Travel on here as well. Good luck and use the resources on here!

    I was thinking the Caribbean trio too, althought I am not sure if we are going to have a dj, so we might use the trio during the reception since our cocktail hour will be cut short (timing issues on their end).

    Oh thats pretty! My "beachy" color theme are the colors I wanted before I even met my fiance lol. I'm just hoping I will find inspiration in something and be able to decide.

    No idea yet! lol either "beachy" colors-coral, ivory, gold, tan or bright colors-pink, yellow, orange, purple. Unfortunatley planning has been on the back burner so I really haven't done much or thought about it. We want to go simple and are not having a bridal party so the colors won't be a huge deal but I do want everything to flow-invitations, OOT bags, flowers, centerpieces etc. What about you @@upstatekj, have you picked your colors??

    Love the hair pin! Why are hair accessories so expensive!! I want something, but don't want to pay $100+ for it, having a hard time finding what I want at a price I think is reasonable.

    I love a long train! It looks so pretty and elegant walking down the aisle and once you have it bustled, you don't have to worry about it.

    @@upstatekj thanks for the update! Unfortunately I don't think succulents are worth that much. Here they are super inexpensive and I love to use them for events because they look great, without the high price tag. Thanks for getting the information!

    I love succulents and wanted to try to incorporate them in my bouquet or centerpieces. I still haven't decided what I want to do with centerpieces, definitely want to go on the simple side.
