Thanks @@upstatekj! The resort actually messed up and that's how we ended up with that time. I just realized my website is wrong and the ceremony is at 6:30 and originally we were told we would have a 5:30 time slot, but the ended up booking someone else at 5pm and we didn't want to do a 4pm (to hot!). I am just hoping it won't be too late for everyone and everyone sticks around to celebrate, 3 more days and I will find out!!!! Congratulations!!! So happy to hear you had a good time, I am off tomorrow morning and can't freaking wait! We had our legal ceremony last Friday and that was so perfect, I just can't wait to have wedding #2 and celebrate with everyone! Can't wait to read your review, I will write one upon my return next month too!

Thanks @@victoriasalv!! I am so excited too, we are doing our legal ceremony on Friday (2 days away!) and in one week we will be en route to Mexico!! The past year really flew by!!

I am sorry you are going through all this and although I have not had the same feelings I have have had a few "moments". I had a big one yesterday and took it out on my fiance and the dog and even told him I didn't think I could have children anymore. I am just totally overwhelmed with all the planning (which I did 95% by myself, but I do this for a living so hard for him to do much) and I have a work trip across the country next week, which is a week before the wedding. But, I have never thought about not marrying him, I was just having a bad day. I feel a lot better today, so I know it was just a bad moment for me. That being said, if you have been having these thoughts for months you should probably talk about it. You don't want to go through with something you are already doubting. Hopefully talking about it will help, sometimes just getting it out in the open helps me and eases my fears even though nothing changed. Good Luck!!!

@@victoriasalv - We are not having a bridal party either so my fiance has one of the boutonnieres, and we gave each of our dads one and his mom a corsage. Jessica is flexible, just needs to be "pushed" at times and I would send her pictures of what I wanted. As long as they can do it, they will!

@@victoriasalv -We are not doing extra flowers for the ceremony or reception (we choose the gold package, so I was happy with what it came with and Jessica let me break up the large floral centerpiece for 4 smaller ones for the reception). I am bringing a bunch of extra decor for the tables though (2 types of votives, a runner, maracas and cute place cards for the tequila shots) I love candles more than just flowers (but that'e me!). @@upstatekj -I have heard great things about the aqua wellness spa, I can let you know how it is after our wedding this month! Might be worth it once or twice for $38.

Yup, I got the same thing! I figured that will be the first day it is just us, so we can be beach/pool bums all day, get pampered and just order room service for dinner. I think when that time comes, it will be much needed break from everything!

@@JenniferH114 Yes, I am sure we will have plenty of reviews and stories! Jessica has been great and I plan events for a living and she hasn't gotten too tired of me being 100 steps ahead lol. I am giving myself a cut off to get everything done (just the extra "cute" stuff) and if I don't have it all done by then, no one will miss it or even know it didn't get done (except myself!). So I am doing the same go with the flow attitude, easier said then done, but I am getting better! Yes, we booked our massage and I can't wait for it! They said they only book them at 7pm each day, did you get the same response?

@victoriasalv We are almost ready. Just had my bachelorette party this weekend, which was a much needed break after moving the week prior. WE just have to finalize the music and finish up the DYI details. But feeling good about everything! After this weekend I am getting really excited and feeling more bridal, its all getting very real! @jenniferH114-when do you guys leave? We are doing a beach ceremony, cocktail hour at X Lounge and our reception at Las Olas too. I am excited to see someone else doing their reception there, I just thought it was the most perfect, organic spot for what we wanted.

I am getting gel done for mine! I did it last time we went on vacation and took engagement photos and looked perfect after almost 2 weeks of fun in the sun. My only dilemma is what color to get! I want a pinkish nude color that won't look outdated or too bright in photos.

We got our maracas through Amols www.amols.com. They are not custom, but look authentic and great pricing. Perfect for what I wanted. We will be using our phone for the playlist. That is still on the list of things to do and stressing me out! Since we only have one weekend both at home before the wedding eeeeek!

@@victoriasalv we are giving out the OOT bags at the welcome reception and just doing maracas as favors at the tables. Since everyone is traveling we didn't want to give anything that would be too difficult to take back.

@@beckys98 no, I went with the thin straps. I love the lace straps, but for me preferred the delicate spaghetti straps, hoping it looks as good in person as in my head! Since the dress comes with the adjustable straps, I haven't been able to try my dress on without holding the top up!

I love Katie May!! I got the Poipu and can't wait to wear it either! I have my final fitting this week and might just have to wear it around the house when my fiance is gone

We are counting down the days! We will be there for 10 days (9 nights). We were going to go somewhere else, but it was too much trouble to transfer and figured it would be more relaxing to just be able to hang out there after the wedding. I am pretty set with everything, just a few final things to take care of but nothing too big. I am getting pretty excited now that it is so close and the majority of the planning is done so now is the fun part @crystal14 let us know how it goes! I will be leaving shortly after you get back. @ giocivs88 I will let you all know how it goes. This forum has been a great help to me and I will make sure to review it when I get back! I haven't done much on posting my planning process, but I figured I will add some of that stuff into the review.

We are doing two long tables at Los Olas, originally we wanted one long table, but that won't fit there. And we are not big enough for Lobster House. But I am happy with how its turning out! We are doing an informal welcome reception at the martini bar and I am handing out the welcome bags then. 6 weeks from today for the big day!

You will get it all done! I felt that way too, I did so much ahead of time and then lagged on final decisions, but actually made decisions pretty quickly once we sat down and forced ourselves to decide!

@@Giocivs88 hard liquor is included too. Basically all liquor at the normal bars is available at the wedding bar. I am pretty much all done! Except for a few little things, but nothing major. I am a event planner so that helps me out a little bit! Do you still have a lot left??

@@JenniferH114 not sure on that one. Maybe there is another thread that has some of that information. I kinda of think you should tip on how you feel the service was and not just case you feel like you should tip and that's coming from someone who is/was in the industry. Not sure if anything is different since it is in Mexico...?

Great, question. I was wondering about that. When I have stayed at other all inclusive resorts they are adamantly about not expecting extra tips (since it is included in the price you pay). Not sure if Excellence is the same way...
