  1. We're also doing a CaboMar dinner cruise. The price they quoted us depends on the number of guests that end up coming. I believe it was $65/person if you have 50 guests or less, $60/person if you have 100 guests or less or $55/person if you have 150 guests or less. Pricey, but comparable to a nice sit down meal at a restaurant, plus it includes dancing, drinks, food all while seeing some sights!
  2. For all past Hilton Los Cabos Brides (or even any visitors to the Hilton), I'm trying to get an idea of what some of the best locations to get photos around the resort are. Unquestionably we'll do plenty of beach shots after the ceremony, but we're planning on doing a first-look as well as most of our wedding party photos before the ceremony, and so we can't go on the beach, since our guests will see us. Does anyone have advice as to any other particularly beautiful areas on the property for photos?
  3. Hello BDW Forum Folks! I've been taking advice and reading reviews in stealth on here for months, as I prepare for my October 2014 wedding at the Hilton Los Cabos, and I felt it was time to give back to the community, and also become more active in asking questions. I also want to be able to share my own experiences now and afterwards to pay it forward with all future brides who are struggling with the same questions I struggled with. Beyond introducing myself, I'm also wondering what the most unexpected stressor or cause of frustration was for any destination brides out there. One thing I've been concerned about is keeping in communication with everyone when we're all down there. (I was thinking WhatsApp, but the resort charges a daily fee that I'm not sure everyone will be willing to pay, and thus will prevent us from being able to communicate with everyone effectively). Maybe this will end up to be a problem, or maybe it will be a major issue. Either way, would love to hear other experiences with this.
  4. I bought my linens through efavormart.com and will be bringing them down in a suitcase when we fly down for our wedding. Looking into trying to ship them to Mexico, the prices were so high it would make more sense for me to fly down there ahead of time with the bag and drop them off than it did to ship them. There are also all kinds of tax rules on shipments in particular from US to Mexico, so I don't want to risk being charged a ton and potentially have the linens delayed.
