  5. I actually just posted this on another dress forum, and just saw this one, too... I ended up going with something more formal than I had thought I wanted, but it's still flowy and beachy. When I put it on, I just loved it and felt comfortable. I, personally, am not a fan of satin, so I knew I didn't want to go that route. Also, I have a large chest, so I knew I didn't want strapless. This dress has a nice little train too. I also have a mid-length veil with subtle silver beading along the edge and the flower clip for my hair (the beading and stitching is more silver in person). (I have long hair but I plan to wear it back in a loose bun of some sort.) Then I have my glitter shoes (!!!!), which I'll be wearing for the reception. The short dress is my "back-up" dress. I am trying to be realistic in thinking that I might get overheated being in my dress for 6+ hours, so I wanted to get a cute white dress that I could change into, if need be, and still look like the bride. This one was very reasonably priced, so it was worth it to me to at least have it. I might get a glitzy belt/sash for it.
  6. I am going barefoot on the beach (or barefoot sandals), but I got these for the cocktail hour and reception!

  16. I really wanted door hangers/do not disturb signs, but I didn't want to have to deal with printing and cutting them. I did some searching and found this shop on Esty. She prints them for you, so you get the actual hangers and not just a PDF to deal with yourself. She is so reasonably priced and I LOVE how ours turned out. She was also really, really fast! https://www.etsy.com/shop/designedbyme I also ordered these little hangover kit bags. She, too, was super fast and they are so cute. Perfect for some individual pill packets! https://www.etsy.com/shop/EverlongEvents
  17. @@Sabes44 - I did not ask for a lights quote before. I did email Jessica back asking for a list of where we are with costs on everything we have confirmed so far. We chose our menus for our welcome dinner and reception about two months ago. I just didn't worry about the cocktail hour yet. I'm sure most anything will be good. I agree with you on choosing a variety of items. We already had both menus printed after Jessica confirmed that what we decided on is fine. I get so nervous that something might change last minute, but it is what it is. Hopefully that won't happen though!
  18. These pictures are from when Matt proposed! We didn't get the pavé wedding band that "matches." Instead, we went with a thicker/bigger band, but there's a curve in it so it sits closely on the e-ring.

  20. Anyone have recommendations for cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres? We have the gold package, so I have a few things I'm eyeing but just wanted to ask in case anyone has feedback.
