    That's great advice. I am trying to do just that. This is my second wedding and I remember stressing so much over little details the first time. And you're right. No one remembers that stuff.

    I never really even thought about it until after we booked. I was sort of clueless I guess. Which resort are you at?

    My singles were young adults and we ended up booking rooms for them together. If one backs out I guess we will make up the difference in cost to a single room. Hope we don't have to deal with that though

    I think you are smart to not mix friendship with photos. You woould hate hard feelings if things didn't turn out how you wanted. I used to have a sister in law that was a hair dresser. She always wanted to cut my hair but I always got out of it somehow. I am super picky about my hair and didn't want hard feelings between us.

    I feel your pain on the costs adding up. When we booked our wedding i was thinking "it's an all inclusive" everything is paid for... We paid $4000 for our reception. We didn't have to but that was the only private option available at this resort. I didn't even consider OOT bags till I started reading this website. Now I am determined to do them. I only have 10 to do and I am picking things up bit by bit. But yes the cost is climbing daily!

    I was looking at Octavio too. I don't want tons of pictures though and my resort charges $200 to bring in an outside photographer. I may have to go with the resort photographer or the cost will get crazy

    I'll check with my resort too. I want to light those paper lantern things and release them but my resort doesn't allow that. Maybe sparklers though...,

    I am trying to think of things that people always need but usually forget. I was thinking of q-tips. Any suggestions of things you always need when traveling but usually forget? Thanks
