I am also torn on picking colors! I'm using the tropical flower bouquet that comes with our wedding package and the pics I've gotten from the florist are mostly pinks, reds, yellows, and white. I hate red and my fiancée doesn't want a pink theme. I am not a fan of yellow either Ugh idk what to do! I originally wanted like a coral or peach theme - by theme I basically am just looking for colors for the chair sashes to match the flowers. I don't think we're having a private reception so I don't need to worry about the decor for that and no bridal party so no dresses to worry about. I was going to make a welcome letter and put it in the welcome bags! I think the resort can put them in the rooms or hand them out to the guests as they arrive. Yes that is what we are using as well! I'm just curious are you adding any decor to the ceremony or reception? What color theme are you using? We're not having a bridal party so I don't have to worry about that but I'm thinking of bringing chair sashes for the ceremony and possible reception. But idk what color to pick. My hubby doesn't want pink otherwise I would go with a light pink since that matches the best. And I hate red so that's not an option lol. Who knew picking a color was so difficult! I think I'll probably decide when I try on the dress! I have to wear some kind of bra whether it's a cup sewn in or strapless or whatever. I'm a D/DD cup so going braless is not an option! Lol. And for the bottom I was going to wear soanx but since it's jamaica and it's going to be hot idk anymore. Yes although a lot of my family and friends still don't know! Shhh lol. I don't think I'll ever tell my family! Idk why. Lol. He says he'll prob never tell his parents either. Both of our parents are very traditional and old school, I think it'd just open a can of worms. Anyway we met on yahoo chat back in 2002. Totally wasn't looking to meet anyone, we were both just bored one day and started talking and private messaging each other and then progressed to phone calls and since he was in NY and I was in MA he travelled to see me a lot since I was still living at home and my parents were strict about letting me go anywhere (I was 17 at the time). I owe our relationship a lot to him! For the first few years until I moved on campus he would make the trips to MA to see me. Well we had been together 11 years so I already knew it was coming. We had been talking marriage for a while, picked out the ring together online. I even knew when he ordered it. Funny thing is the FedEx guy came at the exact moment we got home from him picking me up from work that morning (i had worked a night shift). I knew what it was! He tried to do it once we got inside but I made him wait until I had slept lol! It was our anniversary so he had gotten me some flowers and a card and put it on my nightstand so I saw it once I woke up. When I woke up I texted him to come upstairs so I could thank him (nothing dirty lol) he said I can't wait any longer so he went and got the ring and came back up and got down on one knee, said a bunch of mushy romantic things I can't remember because I was crying like a baby with my messy bed hair of course lol and held up the ring and after hearing "will you marry me" I said yes! Hey all! I haven't found info on this anywhere so I decided to start a new topic. Have any past brides used the bouquet included from tai flora (the resort florist) ? I can't choose colors for my chair decor bc I want it to match the bouquet! I've gotten pics from the florist but it's mostly red pink yellow white and they're all different. The florist said they could try to include flowers to match my color scheme but I'm worried they won't. I wanted coral but the flowers don't really match?
