So I just received an email from Palace resorts stating that they added a promotion for weddings. The wedding couple will receive 1 room night for every 10 rooms booked and the number of free nights is unlimited. The couple has 2 years to use the free nights at any palace resort. Now, I wasn't able to find this on their website, but this does concern me. As the promotion for years has been free room nights based on total room nights booked not for the amount of rooma booked. Does anyone have any clarification on this? The free room nights is one of the reasons why we chose Palace and can surely get married in a country we never been to. Does anyone have any insight?

We are most likely going to go with DJ discomovil. We are in the Philadelphia area and our family is from NY. We are into 9th hip hop and reggae. What I do know is this part of Mexico is VERY americanized. They listen to what we listen to and I honestly preferred the clubs in mexico than home

I'm in the US. We are not interested in honeymooning in mexico since our wedding will be our third time in mexico. So, we want something different. We chose Mexico because we're familiar with the area and Palace had the best group perks. We have considered flying home, doing laundry, and leaving out The next day. We are aiming for the 7 free nights from Palace and don't want them to go to waste. They are opening a Palace resort in Jamaica and I'm assuming we will be able to use free nights there as well.

Resorts With Great Group Amenities

Anyone? I'm not familiar with resorts in Jamaica and I don't know where to start -
I stayed at the Riu palace riviera Maya and I do not like it for weddings. I have considered Riu palace Mexico, but I decided on Playacar Palace. I do not recommended RPRM because there is no privacy during your ceremony. The gazebo is right outside of the entrance for the spa/gym so you will have that traffic, which isn't too bad. BUT this gazebo is also right next to the pool. We saw about 3 ceremonies, which were all back to back but they took place during the pool activities. The pool has a DJ and the music plays loud during the wedding ceremonies. If that would be a problem for you maybe you can have them lower it. I also considered sandos Playacar, but my heart was set on palace resorts for their group incentives. I will say this though, if I got married in punta Cana I would've chose hard rock, and if I got married in any other country, I would've chose Riu. The service at RPRMis amazing, but the reviews about the mold are VERY true, we came home and our stuff smelled like mildew. We also had trouble sleeping due to the sheets feeling damp. I have had friends stay at Riu palace Mexico and have hadno complaints. I recommend you look on trip advisor to see the reviews of the resorts you choose. Yes the wedding resort is important, but you also want to make sure your guest will be satisfied on what they just spent money on. Hope this helps

On second thought. I am not liking the bkush and grey and I believe I am going to go with navy bridesnaid dresses. I did try on a blush dress. I'm not sure if I didn't like the dress as much as I thought I would, but I didn't feel much like a bride. I went to davids bridal to see how I liked the blush. I may have just been annoyed that day because the consultant kept bringing dresses and trying to push the white and ivory... like ummm. No. I have only 1 supporter of the blush dress, so a part of me feels that I'm not going to reveal my dress to anyone until the day of the wedding.
