    I think I changed my mind 10 times about the resort. Initially I didn't even look at now jade bc my ideal date wasn't available but then it wasn't available anywhere even though other websites said it was so I revisited the website and just loved the rooms. This was more streasful then picking out my dress lol

    I just found out 2 of my best friends I assumed wouldn't go may actually be going so this would make us equal or at lest 5 girls 6 guys which to me is amazing lol...1 girl has to talk with her husband about it so I am leaving that as a maybe. I'm just happy that my friends are making the effort bc although I consider them close we have grown apart over the years due to locations and the fact I'm the only one with kids lol

    I just told my sister the other day I have to make my arms priority cuz it's all anyone sees in the dress, then I realized hurts will see me in a bathing suit all week so I really have to tone everything haha

    I'm doing riviera maya but was looking to make my bouquets with artificial but it seems like an impossible task at this point lol. I'm going to ask a local to me florist how much they charge for artificial bouquet and then compare it to the coat of an outside vendor. I just get worried about the whole meeting them outside day of wedding bc what if the resort has a problem with this? Vendor fee is 350

    Well depending on when your wedding is....we will be doing may so that it's prime BBQ weather which is cheap and a casual good time that can be dressed up a bit if needed. I don't see the point of renting a hall for a second party when we will be partying with family for several days while at the destination wedding. I would prob think it's tacky however we have gone to friends weddings where the actual reception was in a small yard with regular BBQ food and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves anyway

    I will def be trying the ziplock. I still have no clue what I'm doing for oot bag contents though so I will keep the packing in mind when getting supplies. I was thinking instead of water bottles ordering custom beer koozies as we are staying in Mexico and assume most will not drink the tap water anyway

    Omg these stories are great...I guess I can rest assured even if my wedding has a few kinks it will still trump these weddings lol

    Yea we are going for 2 weeks so I plan on at least 1 carry on containing bathing suit and wedding attire for the family (we are bringing our 2 kids so I will utilize their carry on as well lol)

    Aw it's normal to feel disappointment in this situation as I am sure you both feel even though the reason in the end will be a happy event (baby)...but eventually you will move on from the disappointment and be able to feel happy about the wedding. Watching the video together is a great idea You could also take a picture holding her picture at the wedding and give it to her with a card saying something along the lines of even though she wasn't there physically she is still a part of your big day.

    I drink a ton of water usually 16 8oz glasses a day at a minimum...if it is hot out probably double.

    Pretty ballsy to bring your kids to a kid free wedding. I can understand they are upset about it but then they should just send regrets they can't make it

    He's about 7 yrs older. It was a bigger deal at 17 and 24...but now 30 and 37 not so big of a deal lol
