    I have heard that the sparklers are pretty crazy. A friend of mine had them at her wedding for send off pictures and they ended up burning TONS of holes in her wedding dress and lots of people got little burns and holes in their clothes as well.

    I REALLY want to do the lanterns if my resort will allow them! I don't think that there will be enough room for games in our reception area but what a great idea!

    I think white is simple and elegant and would look great! I think too much color takes away from the bride and groom, the main focus )

    I've seem some really pretty monogram ones that I feel like I would totally use again for birthdays, holidays, etc. but not sure when thinking of other things that money could go towards.

    I think my venue includes a burlap looking isle runner which goes with our theme. Has anyone had experience with this? I am wondering how much sand will come through it after walking on it.

    Following for some more suggestions. So far I am leaning towards Sara Richardson for my June 2015 wedding. She is Cabo based photographer as well.

    We can't afford to do this for our rehearsal dinner but wish we could have! Definitely going to try and get the group to go though one night since most of our guests are staying for the week.

    @@MichelleT I took a look at the photographer and personally was not too impressed. If you need a recommendation, Sara Richardson looks great and has many featured weddings on Style Me Pretty and has a great website with her portfolio. I have seen the vendor charge + 16% tax when I have inquired on things and check with the vendor to see if they include the vendor charge in their proposal. I have seen some other people had luck with it being covered.

    I am afraid of this exact situation. My package includes hair and makeup but I haven't had any luck finding anyone who actually used those services.....I have e-mailed Suzanne and will have to decide what I want to do in the near future. I am a planner and can't wait until the last minute.

    @@calgarybride2015 do you have pictures you could send me or a photographers website? I would think they would hold the same standards for all resorts.

    Is there anyone who has come across a wedding at the Sandos Finisterra in Cabo who has used the hotel's hair and makeup services? It is included in my package but won't get there until 2 days before the wedding so kind of hard to plan if it is a disaster...

    I am looking for a transportation to put on our invitations as we are not using a travel agent and just letting everyone book their own arrangements. It is much cheaper to book through Expedia or just use a timeshare transfer but I wanted to be able to recommend a company for transportation to and from the airport. When we go, we hang out at the bar and let everyone clear out and we just grab a private car to town so we can stop at Walmart. It is definately cheaper going this route but not sure that our guests who have never been there would be comfortable with doing that when they've never been to Mexico.

    @@Lia33 I agree. As long as my family is where I want them to be I guess it would be ok. Also, I do have a feeling that if they do come and aren't invited to the wedding, my future SIS would tell them to come crash the reception. I guess as long as everyone is having fun it isn't the end of the world...
