Congratulations to everyone! June 22nd, 2015 bride here

I am in the same dilemma! I like the idea of a save the date but also feel like it will be overkill if I am going to send out my invitations in the next couple of weeks.

I plan on wearing toms wedding wedges. They have really pretty satin ones that I think will look great and be super comfy. As an added plus I would totally wear them again.

My WC also told me that if they come with us and stay as a guest (we are required to stay at the resort) then we did NOT have to pay the fee. Just email them and they should give you a straight answer.

I agree. We aren't doing a registry because we have lived together for 8 years, don't need anything, and want people to know that them coming to witness or wedding means a lot more then anything that they could "buy" us.

Has anyone ordered their invitations from Costco? I really like one that they have an entire suite for but not sure of the quality. I LOVE Costco and would hope they are great quality especially for the price but wanted to see if anyone has first hand experience.

Did anyone order a customized garment bag for transporting your wedding dress? I thought I would be able to find cute ones on etsy but no such luck. I also wanted to add a monogram with my future monograms. If anyone has ordered one or knows where to find one, please post pictures and let me know where you got it from.

I am going to attempt to make one myself as well. If anyone comes up with anything creative to add please share!

I like the idea of having tunes to help with being in "the mood" and not feeling awkward.

I like the idea of a "Jack and Jill" as all of our friends that are coming are all married.

Definately check the VS Semi-Annual sale if it is before your wedding date. I want to find a "bride" or white bathing suit to wear on the trip one day (I have a bathing suit addiction!). If you are in to brand name clothes check out Threadflip.com you can score some awesome deals! I just picked up a NWT pair of 7 For All Mankind shorts for $15 shipped yesterday. Now is the time to pick up summer stuff on end of season clearance for next year. If you plan on losing weight, get a couple of things that can be "goals" for your destination wedding.

I have a feeling we will definitely be having some hungover wedding guests LOL but hopefully not a hungover bride or groom

We are getting married at an all-inclusive resort so we have asked the wedding coordinator if we can set up a "welcome/rehearsal" dinner the night before the wedding at a restaurant that is on the beach. They will section off a portion of the restaurant on the beach for us so we can all be together. The morning after the wedding, we plan to have breakfast all together and then whoever wants to go downtown can go and see the shops/restaurants and public beach. The events at the resort are included and we will just tip the wedding coordinator extra for setting this up. When we head into town everyone is responsible for themselves and just plan to let everyone know when we are doing activities but it is up to them to decide what they want to join in on.
