    welcome and congratulations. I never had the option to do Adults Only as we have 2 seventeen year olds combined.... Natrually, that meant Hard Rock Hotel Cancun.

    @@tygrrlily thanks for the info! I think I will look for a website today, I agree, it is more in line with today's communication. Accessible by mobile phones. Also it prevents looking all over the house for the STD they put where they wouldn't lose it! lol Truly appreciate the input and definitely helpful. I will check out the Knot today.

    I haven't decided that yet, but will as soon as our TA arrives home from visiting our WC at Hard Rock this week. I am hoping the 24th or 25th... and yes.......so EXCITING!

    Thanks @@kmk2016 I was contemplating not doing STD's also and utilizing a website, email, e-gram, etc to keep costs down and one source of information. Did you do website through resort Wedding Services? Thanks @ stefadile... I appreciate the input. I too will be closer to 10 months by the time I have all the details to do STD and develop a website, so you've put my mind at ease. Wow @@AllieH you are a wealth of information! I would respond more, but I am being summoned to get back to work! lol I just came back from a 2 week vacation at El Dorado Royale and Generations Riviera where I was proposed to. I can only imagine how beautiful your wedding was. We will be visiting the Resort again this Christmas. Thanks for your support and info. Congrats @@soontobemrsJ and look forward to sharing reviews and advice until April 2015. I loved Jamaica and also looked there for our wedding, however we are limited on chartered Flights still flying late April. Have a Terrific Tuesday

    @@KathyandEthan - Your diligence is being rewarded and passed on to your guests! Good Job! My Wedding is from Canada for 7 days which would explain why the difference in per guest price.... Knowing your rate wasn't based on a week gives me comfort! Thanks for sharing!

    @@mazarin I too have had quotes around the $2100 range for Cancun in April 2015. I wish I would've read this thread earlier as I felt from my TA the earlier I booked, the better the rates, perks, and credits. I would've waited a couple months to have the pp price be lower. I also wish I would've asked about the Price Drop Guarantee.... which I will do right now! Thanks for the valuable info Ladies!

    i agree, veils look good in the pictures, but perhaps not that functional during a ceremony where they may be wind. Veils are best chosen to suit your dress and match your personality. If your heart is set on a veil, wear it proudly.

    I am a new Bride (April 2015 - Hard Rock Hotel Cancun) Looking for any advice on SAVE the DATE's and Invitations. I haven't decided on colors, invitations, theme, etc... does this matter on Save the Dates? I could wait until all that is decided but will mean less notice time for my guests to decide and secure deposit? I am from Edmonton, Alberta Canada and would love any referrals of Wedding Branders who are savvy, nouveau, and creative! Thanks in advance!

    I too was stressed last week trying to figure out where to start... I read through this site as often as I could and it was extremely helpful. Biggest step was securing a Resort and Price for my guests.... I live in Canada so availability is a bit more limited and prices are a little higher than what I see posted on here. I see brides booked in at Resorts I too had quotes for indicating there per guest price as almost half of what I secured at HRH. Having said that the Wedding Packages, perks, and Credits are amazing at HRH. Each room booked at HRH will get $1800 Resort Credit to use on golf, tours, spa, salon, Rock Shop, and Upgrades/Amenities at Hotel. I also love the fact that I receive a base rate back to me for every 11th guest that books up to a max of 3. Good Luck and Happy Researching!

    I had my heart set on Now Larimar in Punta Cana but there weren't enough flights available for my dates. I am now booked in at HRH in Cancun. It's a good idea to speak with your TA to find out if there is an Early Booking Discount and/or space at all 3 choices to narrow it down. I too had Negril, Mayan Riviera, and Punta Cana as my 3 choices. Many of the eliminating factors were out of my control, leaving me with the available options to choose from.
