  2. Has anyone booked a bridal/groom suite for the day of the wedding to get ready in? I've booked The Styling Trio (hair/makeup) for my bridal party and I want to make sure we have enough space. Thanks! L
  3. My friend pointed out putting loofah's in the welcome bags. Get them cheap at the dollar store and she said it was something that no one packed but loved!

  5. Hi! Love your pictures Just wondering if you got your hair and make up done by Moon Palace? How far in advance did you make your appointments? You mentioned that you used Moon Palace's speakers...what did that cost? I have about 30 guests and we are really torn between bringing our own Bose or getting JSAV to set up speakers (we definitely aren't doing the DJ thing). Thanks! Lindsay
  6. Hi! I can email you their information (pricing package, etc.) if you like. They are highly priced, but I was able to negoiate with them so keep that in mind. I got the perfumes package (2 photog's for 5 hours) and the live streaming for $3000. Send me your email and I'll forward you what I have. Lindsay
  7. Hi Lydia, Our wedding is in November and we will be using Dream Art. Apparently they are also the ONLY photographers on MP's accepted list, so I imagine a lot of brides will be dealing with them. Your wedding must be coming up - how were they as photographers? Any tips? Thanks! Lindsay

Hi, your pictures are beautiful - thank you for sharing I'm a Moon Palace bride, but I'm wondering if the flowers in your and your bridemaids hair are real ones that you requested from them or are they fake and you brought them yourself. I'd like to use real flowers (yours look gorgeous), but I haven't seen too many pictures so I'm not sure what it'd look like. Thanks! Lindsay

  11. How did the wedding go? Any tips you can give to the rest of us? Did you think the microphone was necessary? Our spot is the Toucan Terrace and although the waves and wind may be loud, I don't know if we really need a microphone. The speeches will probably be small and minor and mostly just dinner and dancing. Thanks! Lindsay
  12. We are getting married November 6, 2014 (5 months away!) She emailed me first after the deposit went through. She sent me an email to set up a phone call and it was just a quick introductory to what she'll be doing for you. I had a list of questions ready to go which I found helpful. After that she'll send you a huge email with a bunch of the vendors, moon palace booking info and a bunch of other stuff. I'm hoping the communication will get better as we get closer and out of their busy season - I'll let you know!
  13. We bought all of our Groomsmen shirts at Moores for buy 1 get 1 free and they came in a multitude of sizes. The salemen work off commission so we were able to negoiate cost as well. I'm working with Renee and her response time has been very stressful. I understand if it's a tough question or request that it may take some time, but I've waited over two weeks for her to confirm our venue for the reception and I'm going a little crazy. April and May are apparently their busiest times so I'm hoping it gets better come June. I'd give her a chance, it seems like NONE of them are truly amazing so best not to upset them at all.
  14. Those charms are beautiful! We aren't using bouquets though, I've actually bought parasols for the girls instead...I may try to incorporate them though.

  16. Hi Fellow MP Brides! We've set out date for November 6th and most of our plans are moving quite smoothly - but my fiancé and I have been discussing the music. We know we don't want a DJ (too expensive) and I don't mind creating my own playlist but I'm wondering if it's really worth it to pay the money for a speaker system and microphone/docking system. Anyone considered trying to make due with a Bose system? We have under 30 people.
