I'm paying the wedding in pesos. The photographer is US but we should only lose $200-300 in exchange I decided to tip in peso but ensure that I give the equiv in Canadian. I am not doing a TTD either but I would go with somewhere you can try it on. I know some Girls on this site have great experience with people abroad doing custom dresses, but the couple I know did not. Their dresses weren't sized to their measurements at all, one came dirty, etc. These girls only paid like $150 so not horrible. If you go with one of the higher end companies then I say go for it -- although I assume there may be a higher price tag than $100. If not, I would probably stick to David's bridal or similar. Interesting. My TA said she couldn't help. But since our group is placed in the same area of the plane I am sure the 2 people upset can just switch. Otherwise the people who pre booked their seats - ie me!! Are placed where we chose. I pre booked and paid $$ to ensure my kids were placed with my friend as I'll be in first class. Thank you. I wanted 1.5 hours for pics and they keep saying 1 is enough. Photographer agrees with me so we may be fashionably late and I won't rush to make dinner Side note - our guests got broken apart on the plane too. When I questioned my TA she said it's AC who does it and guests can check in 24 hours in advance to change seats. Just wanted to say this possible wasn't your TAs fault. I found the seamless undies had no give whatsoever that they actually caused more problems. I haven't honestly tried them under my dress so maybe I will. Its more the fact where I want the underwear to sit, so maybe I will just have to give up on them covering my hips LOL!!!

I am pretty sure I am OCD or nuts, either work I can wash my fiance's stuff but not my daughter's.... I have had colors rub onto things in the past that is the only reason why it even crossed my mind. No seriously it's true hehe

I've considered that. I think it's more the top edge of the undies as I have the chiffon then a layer of satin then the whole tulle layer. It's not like it's skimpy that way! So another fear with the slip is the top edge will show too! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ok I have a dumb question - please don't laugh. Am I the only bride that worries about color transfer from the men's clothing or my flower girl dress going onto the white dress? hahaha I was thinking of putting that stuff in a cheap garment bag from dollarama and putting it inside my garment bag. Just tell me I am too OCD and it will be fine.

I agree, I always bring cheaper things on vacation and leave expensive jewelry at home. I don't want to bring my wedding rings but don't have a choice this time LOL!!!

Ok these are seriously my last photos until I get back from my wedding Finished off my timelines today and also figured out how to tie the rings on the shell (I had to u tube - dorky right?) The reason I picked this type of shell is because you can loop the ribbon thru holes on it and not worry about glueing anything!

Noone really bugged us about why we needed numbers, but I think when I told my dad the cost - especially the fact we had to pay for the open bar - he was a bit shocked!!!

hahaha!!!! She went up my dress and pulled them down some, can you say awkward? I think it's because I want them at my hips to hide my little roll. I think my hips are at a spot that is the most form fitted on the dress, so she wants me to wear them lower. I will leave it until Mexico to decide in the sunlight.

@acw271011 I prefer publisher if you are using graphics. They are easier to move around and group. I had never used publisher before but I just goofed around until I figured it out. The boarding pass invites were torturous in word but I got thru it. Thanks for the heads up on your hair!!! Today my WC asked me if I wanted my trial in the evening to wear to our 'rehearsal dinner.' I said no I would prefer it very early in the day as my plan for the trial is more for how it's going to hold up in heat. I am VERY particular about my hair, always have been, so this is more for my piece of mind. Here are some pics from last night - sorry they aren't great pictures whosoever and we didn't even put the train out properly lol. I get to pick the dress up to take home on January 10. She didn't have the final hem done - she was worried because I had forgotten my sandals at the last fitting. So she will now do the final hem and we are good to go!!!! This also shows you how LONG my hair has gotten since my engagement pictures! The lady still thinks you can see my undies, I give up!!! if I have to I will go commando. I have bought so many pairs it's like what else do I do? hahah Personally I think I am ok, the dress was SOOO staticy and clinging to me.

I am not sure I have a 'cool' idea but I love the accessories I got for my bridesmaids. They are wearing fuschia. I am doing most of their accents in silver. I got them silver sandals, an anklet with a few fuschia beads, and then I got them this jewelry set. I will allow them to do whatever they want with their hair - if they want a flower or not. The pics do the piece no justice, they sparkle so beautifully. Can't wait to see them all on the girls in a couple weeks! The seller is on Etsy called 'Dream Day Design' she has A LOT of colors to choose from if you wanted something bold to contrast the magenta.

My wedding is costing as much as my friends in Calgary, the only difference is I have 44 guests and she had like 100... and mine includes a vacation for my family of 4.

Haha 64oz is massive. My personal one is 34 and I find it big but it last from morning to lunch and my drink isn't warm. If you are going to pay $7 per cup you may as well get bubba's!!! I wish we has now but oh well I got my cups from dollarama for $2 a piece. If you do go this route just ensure you check for cracks and don't buy those ones. Dollar Tree has some too. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
