In Need Of Raffia Fans
calgarybride2015 replied to MrsRoland2015's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade or Freebies!
I am not using raffia fans, but am using the white silk fans from Michaels. They are beautiful and an option for you if you can't find raffia fans but really want some sort of fan. I waited until Michael's had a 50% off coupon and I got 15 for $15 - so $1 each which is very decent!!! Here's a pic, excuse the ribbon - we ended up putting a tag on each fan. -
Something Blue.

LOL!!! he can have all the fun he wants back in the room. We aren't doing a garter toss, but I bought it as my 'something blue' before we decided that. I'll wear it and he can pull it off after he figures out how to get my wedding dress off!! -

Double digits!!! enjoy this time because it honestly goes soooooo fast! -
I just wanted to say that I had my dress done at a seamstress outside of a bridal shop. It was Perfect Stitches in the Beddington Mall. She is FABULOUS!! I am soooo impressed with the work she did. She took my dress out which required a lot of bead work to be duplicated, she did a hem, and a french bustle for $325. I would highly recommend her.

Calgary Area Officiant... Help?

I just got married with Lucy Miller and highly recommend her Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Welcome and congrats I sent my invites out to everyone at about 7.5 months out. My invite said where and when but directed them to our wedding website for TA info, prices, RSVP, and all other info for Mexico. We made the RSVP date the same as the booking deadline from the travel agent. After people paid their final Payment, about 2.5 months before the wedding, we sent a pre travel brochure which mimicked our webpage and had some extra info and each person got a luggage tag. That's all I did -- so everyone we wanted to invite got an invite but only people who were 100% paid and coming got the pre travel package. We picked our resort in may and are marrying in less 2 weeks. We leave in 8 days Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It's pretty darn close but not exactly the same. Maybe check to ensure you agree with me and/or it's enough but I think it's the same thing Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I am using the photography company affiliated with my resort, which is Adventure Photos. I did a lot of research into who their photographers were, I requested their work, etc. before making my choice and requesting a certain photographer. My other front runners, with very reasonable rates (I am a budget bride) were: -Bohemia Photography - Samual Luna I also loved the work of Bicoastal, Dean Sandersan, and Lancelotti These ones were in my price range...some more than others but for a budget bride they are all worth checking out.
