  1. We didn't part until after breakfast the day of our wedding. We may have spent a bit more time together, but since we had breakfast at 9am and the spa started at 10am that is just the way it worked!
  2. I work better under pressure I'm soooo excited for you..... We have some march and April ladies then a little lul for a awhile. I love living threw you ladies now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Sooooo quick. Hard to believe it's my 1 month today lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Right back at you. January 21 was an awesome day for a Mexican wedding you looked beautiful. BOOOO where did all the pics I attached go? They are still in photobucket so the links shouldn't be broken. Am I the only one who can't see them? Thanks
  5. haha that can work very well. Shawn loves to travel so it has to be more a joint effort. When we did our first trip together (where he proposed) he had never been to an AI and it was a very hard sell. So we spent a lot of time off the resort so he felt he got his sort of trip! Unfortunately all his ideas for trips need A LOT of time spent away - he traveled Asia for 7 weeks in 2013 so this is his idea of getting away lol OHHHHHH those sound awesome. Can't wait to hear what you two chose. Truth be told our honeymoon is nothing major! Shawn has never been to Vegas and I knew my dad was going to help pay, so we thought it was a good fit as packages (air/hotel) can be very reasonable! (and I did want to get married in Vegas!!) We are kind of killing two birds with one stone -- we found out that our close friends, who attended our Mexican wedding, are doing a vow renewal in August in Vegas so we decided to combine the two. We will probably ultimately chose their hotel and flight package as they did for ours but I know whatever we chose they won't care! They chose a hotel that wouldn't be my first choice for a honeymoon but I'm pretty laid back, we can go for a fancy dinner or something. Right now I can't find packages thru West Jet for their hotel so who knows what will happen when we book in a few weeks!
  6. Thanks! I was a new shutterfly customer and happened to snag a good deal. Cards at 40% off and the extra pics free. After that darn exchange I paid $65 for 25 cards. (Was $50) I loved the idea too that's why I stole it from tygrrlily lol. I think they offer much more than a basic thank you card. Hahaha we are going to wish it come faster no matter what we do. That's the name of the game for anything exciting - especially a wedding. Just remember to enjoying everything it's only 1 day and I miss that day so much ..... Lol. We are planning our honeymoon for Aug 19 so I love seeing your ticker as they are close heheheh. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Looks awesome and yaaaaa your shoulders look fantastic! I can tell a total different. Awesome job! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. That sounds absolutely fantastic. I would probably have to beg and plead to get 2 weeks off at once!! but the bigger issue is the kids! Their dad is helpful but he lives 1.5 hours away so unless it's summer or spring break then it wouldn't work as they have school! Limits things that is forsure - so for you ladies with no kids, TRAVEL NOW! hahah
  9. hahah I should, because everyone wants to do this yearly! I am planning a honeymoon - well kind of,just need to book it! Also have been thinking about our 1st year Anniversary trip! We have a difference of ideas right now ps- the cards are much nicer than my iphone does justice I am sure the guests will love them! And I should give credit to tygrlily, as I did make these based on hers
  10. We celebrated my husband's dad's birthday after our wedding. His brother paid to get a cake for him. It was about $15 I think. Maybe less. They did it thru the front desk. (Sorry thread hijacking. I didn't marry at your resort) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. @@girlinthecity97 Ohhh trust me it wasn't planned. He taped it cause he wanted to try his new go pro. I'm so thankful he did (although I haven't seen it lol) or I would have regretted being to cheap to pay for it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. We had no cake left either - maybe one sliver but not enough to even worry about. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Hey everyone, Our thank you cards came today from Shutterfly! We also ordered extra photos to put inside the cards that are specific to each person I'm happy with how they turned out just a little annoyed the front picture wraps onto the back side lol (1st world problems). I guess this is it for our wedding obligations. Somewhat sad Enjoy your weddings ladies! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Beautiful. I agree that the headband looks great Ps - you will not for one Milli second regret an updo. My hair would have no held had I have done the curled style I once thought I would. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hugs. I lost my mom 10 years ago and I feel your pain. I honored her on my bouquet with a bouquet charm (posted below). Just know she's looking down on you and smiling I've already told you I love them all any will be 100% perfect. My fave on your is #2. It will come to you! It's always normal to second guess as I truly believe you can always find another love - for anything. You should have heard my reasoning when I bought lol I think I also put it on 5 times in that appt to ensure it was what I wanted lol. I still think about my other love but I don't regret the one I bought for a minute. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I love all the dresses but #2 is my fave on you I also second what the other ladies said !! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I tipped the WC, photographer, and wait staff at the reception. I also tipped the spa people. I would have preferred to have someone tip them for me at the end of the night but I needed to ask the WC a question about tipping first and had forgot. So what I did was tell her I had tips that I would bring to her the next day and she let the wait staff know. I had nice thank you cards and put it inside for WC, photog and waitstaff. I paid wait staff in a group and she ensured me that they would split it amongst them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. This is perfect for a beach wedding! I look forward to seeing how you felt in it when it was soooo hot out!!! I loved my dress, but man there was no air flow LOL!! You are sneaking up on one month!
  19. David's Bridal has a lot of selection and the dresses are cheap in price! (Or can be). They have some of their website under wedding dresses that to me are bridesmaids dresses - given that I bought all our dresses there. My dress was $500 and my bridesmaids $160 so sounds like it could be in your budget. Check them out online and if something grabs your attention make an appt . Also try prom type stores or evening wear dress stores - I can't name any for TO but Calgary has a few. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Congrats. Love the pics. I wish I had a pic of us and our bridal party walking hand in hand!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Yes!!! And lots of us are planning a summer trip to kelowna together. Some of us even got concert tickets together (imagine dragons). We just loved so much how well we all clicked and how much fun we had!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Bloom Bridal uses them for their bouquets I do believe. Check out their website - unreal work! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I love it all too Have you considered a statement necklace for yourself? My friend did it and it looked awesome. I considered one in fuchsia but had no luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
