  1. Just paying it forward. A lot of my confidence in the resort was from all the reviews from past brides. What are your details? Palapa? Colors? Extras? Yay!!!! So exciting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Saskbride had her. I met her and she is fabulous. They all are. You are in good hands. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Have fun!!! Can't wait to hear all about it. Who is your WC? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. We didn't do one and I don't regret it at all. Everyone knew eachother as we did a welcome party and we all hung together all week. Everyone knew who was who and it would have been redundant. Of course everyone has their own opinion Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I also recommended the Rubbermaid containers. I used them for all the smaller stuff and then just packed them into my suitcase. Made packing the little stuff much more easy! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I lied lol. After they were bubble wrapped it only fit 40 ish! Did you try Walmart for cheap luggage? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Turquoise and fuchsia all the way with a pop of orange!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I can't even imagine!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Shellac doesn't ruin my nails that quickly but it does I agree. I used gel since November and just took them off - nails are trashed. You heat them with your blow dryer and they get flexible. Then you attach them and apply pressure. Just ensure they aren't touching skin or cuticles so a good seal can be made. Then heat them to set. Worked good for me. One thing I learned is you can't have any overhang at the tip of your nail or they will lift. I used a manicure scissor to trim but I think nail cutters may work better. Just heat again to take off. Marina will have way more experience and tips than I. As I only used them once but it was way less daunting then I imagined. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. He doesn't. I promise you he might object to wearing pink but pink as your wedding color is ok! Hahaha. Pink was my color and the others were accents. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. It is the hardest part but don't make it harder than it needs to be. Make a list of what is a must have and your price point. Also your preferred location and just get err done. You can search for a resort for months upon months if you allow yourself too. Colors aren't girly choose your faves. Who cares what others think, it's your wedding Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. We said no swimsuits. As suggestions we said a nice pair of shorts or a sun dress. I feel bad for the men that wore pants because it was hotter than heck. I had sweat running down my legs in my dress. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I tried jam berries recently and while it took a couple tries to figure them out I can back them up Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Ugh!!! I feel your pain. It's tough when everything is made and things change. When we had the last minute cancellation I ended up leaving them on my seating chart but with additional people you'd definately have to re plan all the tables and update it. So annoying. Ok don't laugh - but he has 2 girlfriends? Like dating or just friends? Hahha I stopped as I read that I get a plus one but this one would annoy me. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Good idea. I did this too but to watch weddings. Did you do that too? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It's definately not as nice of sand in Mexico so those theories may be correct forsure Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I've never burnt my feet in Mexico in January or April. But I have in Cuba and it's white sand. It was pipping hot!!! Not sure how the white sand plays into if it's hot or not?!? But probably will just need to test it out for yourselves individually. Also people tolerate things differently too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Does your onsite spa offer regular makeup? Mine did not offer airbrush but they used MAC makeup and set it with a spray. It lasted well into the reception and then when we started to party hard it was coming off! But it did more than it's job I think! But I know a few brides who just went to MAC or Sephora and had them teach them how to apply makeup and bought their products to do it themselves. I was going to do my own at first and my hair but changed my mind.
  19. @@LisaAnthonyPoppy Good job! you will appreciate all you are doing now when you are a few weeks out Crafting takes so much longer than it appears!
  20. It does suck! Mine just came on, so I hope it doesn't linger too long. I meant to say I loved that box too! Will be good to hold stuff after! My little treasure box is full
  21. My husband (almost said fiancé) can't wear his ring at work either but does like to wear it on the weekend. If it was me, I would get him one a couple sizes to big to go over his knuckle. If you didn't think he'd wear it often I would buy a cheapy. Tungsten styles can be under $100. They aren't the nicest of their brand/styles but hey! If he won't wear it often anyways. Never heard of a wedding watch!! Men and their ideas hehe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Beautiful. I'm sorry to hear your photog was not up to par attitude wise but thankfully your pics are gorgeous. You looked gorgeous! Congrats. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Hey! I would probably combine the 2. If you were really into the Polaroid idea my friend offered me her leftovers for our wedding but I went another route. I could ask if she wanted to get rid of the extra. Also the other idea presented is fun!! At the very least if you did a photo booth then had the cards for the guestbook you could totally add those together. The nice thing if you did use the digital is that if they fade over time you can reprint them (you could use photo corners in the book so they can be slipped out and changed). I've seen cheap photo booth props at party stores and michaels. Honestly though you could probably make your own from ideas on Pinterest. Sorry if my ideas are scrambled. I'm also sick and can't think straight. Congrats on booking your flights. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Everything is great!! Here is a few answers for the ones I could. 1. I assume your officiant has good English. Ours spoke 5 languages and while English wasn't his first language there was no problem understanding him. I love a Spanish accent and found it very dreamy. 2. You have great OOT bags and I wouldn't worry about adding more. I personally wouldn't get any bubble bath. Chances are people won't use the bath tub and for those who do they probably offer it at the resort or could use their body wash! I think you'd be better off saving that money. Sorry the glasses didn't work out. The ones you got are great. I got mine at the dollar store too. You mentioned tunblers for your girls. Are they not getting a bubba? I probably wouldn't do both. Maybe find someone who can label them with something special for the girls???? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
