  1. You are a strong and beautiful woman!!! You are an inspiration to everyone and we all look up to you Hope you sort out the ceremony. I replied before about feeling frustrated for you. Love love the dress. Gorgeous Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. All I can suggest is that you research the photographers that work for the Riu (is it adventure photos?). Go thru all the pics you saw from them and ask who shot the work of the weddings you love. Then ensure you can request them. That's what I did at my resort - no Rui. And it worked fabulously. 3. Mine wanted to wear a banana hammock sigh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It's only $35. So while it's lower and I would want it matched I wouldn't bank in 1 or 2 months it would be $200 less etc. If you like the price I'd lock it. April sometimes includes spring break depending on Easter and that price to me seems very reasonable. Cheaper than any price ive ever paid good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Nope we didn't only if you wanted safe or wifi they would charge you. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I wanted to book right away as we were only 9 months out. Our price was ALWAYS lower than anything we could find online. I booked in may but our deposit deadline was July. I kid you not - in July for our January wedding there was only 10 seats left on the plane. We made sure everyone knew and to hurry up! So I would actually believe your TA about the flight booking up if that price is attractive to you and in your price point. Of course you may not win the price battle as another poster mentioned but we did!!! As the plane fills the demand for seats increases and the price drives up. If you like that price it's better to be safe than sorry. And from continued talks with my TA the prices for 2016 are bad and could get worse!!! Sorry I quoted the wrong post. On my phone. @@krystalball Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. We had a black and white tv hahaha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Depends how she ships it. Another Edmonton bride ordered rush from china and had something in 4 days! Maybe less. She was shocked. I would email and ask them what the rushed shipping timeline is. Say that you were promised march 6 which is in 2 days and if she can't guarantee it will arrive you feel she's breeched the contract and you want a refund. Atleast that way maybe you can but off the rack in Edmonton. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Awesome!!!! Customs will take 2-4 days from my experience should be soon! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. It is!!! I've been there and can promise. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Unless you are dancing in the sand you don't need that dance floor save your money! And even then you may not. Is your DJ your MC? If yes give him a timeline. I'd plan it around how long you have Luna for. You'd hate that you didn't do your cake before Luna left etc. Music wise I just told them what genres I wanted and he did AWESOME!!!! If you hate a certain song then give him a list. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. They get worse and you no longer sleep hehehehe but it's all worth it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. OMG hahah I was looking at the oasis chains and my TA strongly advised against it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I get sentimental value I saved one of everything I did do (invite, timeline, pre travel items, OOT cup, maracas, fan, etc). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Yay!! So soon now - what day do you fly out? Everything looks great - the girls will love their gifts. It gets so really when you are packing hey? And I agree it is like Tetris. I just packed as I finished something and set those bags aside. Less stress last minute Since you have kids you will get priority boarding and then you can either claim your overhead bin or have it hung up. It will work out fine I do feel!!! 15. I think the legal marriage at home will be good 'practice'. It was for me. I was holding off tears and in turned laughed a lot. But in Mexico I just had a dead stare at my fiancé (at the time lol) and was ok. It was still nerve wracking and I knew everyone was staring but honestly you just zone in and zone them out and forget they are there Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Hahaha no time for boredom at my wedding. Start to finish the video was 12 minutes - and yea that included walking down and back up the isle Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Hahahahahha this wedding in Wainright sounds fantastic!!! Can't wait for pics . it's true 100%. After all was over Shawn thanked me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. I understand 100%. It's almost been 11 years for me. She's with you and she'll be right at your side the day of. Hugs. I just let my dad wear what he wanted. I'm a little laid back though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Don't!! I spent far less than that on decor Favors not so much! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Hahaha I do agree although I've used one!!! His looked rather 'clean' and it technically doesn't touch the mouth piece. Just be careful I'd probably nag a bit. Sit him down and explain why this is important to YOU and how it may be perceived. I liked the 'after thought' comment above. It's a nice gesture and IMO, even more with the cost that people are paying to attend your DW. Maybe go out and look. Take pics and get pricing. I did that for my husband -- was like 'hey found a great deal on these shaving kits, want me to grab them?' But all else he did was left until like 3 days prior to Mexico. Boys will be boys. 21. If we are talking about your program it's actually a free template on a website tygrrlily used ticks me off people use this free template and then charge for it on etsy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. @@meganstobo2004 Ok hopefully these help! In the first picture you can see the main beach and in the next one it wraps around towards the ruin. At the ruin there is a lot of 'reef' there so you can't really get thru unless you walk thru 'brush' On the far side of that ruin, in the picture, is where the public beach weddings are ...as you can tell there is no loungers, etc. over there but there was some people there when we walked thru. If by chance they offer you playa palapa for your ceremony, that is the private beach by the disco where the palapa is. If they allow it I would jump on it, but unsure if they would charge you the golf cart services to shuttle the guests as it is a long walk. ps - the beach wasn't as bad as it looks in this pic. Some areas were rockier than others. I didn't have any issues myself with going into the ocean, but as I walked towards where I took this first pic I wanted my flip flops on.
  23. Love it all great choices. I also prefer my short hair down but it's got a mind of it's own and I knew the heat and humidity would ruin it, so I sucked it up and grew it out for the wedding. Out meaning almost to my shoulders haha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. It's off the main beach towards the spa. It's on the other side of the ruin if you've seen pics. People are over there but since there are no loungers I didn't find it bad. I'll see if I can find a pic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Omg that's freaking awesome. I considered this at one point but husband said his mom is too scared of boats. Can't wait to see pictures . Coral is a great color. That's awesome!!! The public beach is still a bit removed from regular beach so you'll appreciate that too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
