The only thing I could suggest is that possibly Tammy makes it so that reviews can't be left until a certain amount of time (somewhat like people can't see attachments until they have 150 posts). If they can't leave a review for 30, 60, or 90 days it may deter people from 1. only coming here to leave a review or 2. 'fake' accounts leaving reviews randomly. If you have to remember to come back to do it, you may just completely forget about it all together because it isn't important to you.

Hey Laura I'd have to agree with you. I do also struggle when I see these glowing reviews that come in from 1,2,3 people shortly after a negative review and the person only signed up to leave that review. While I understand that some people are probably asked to leave a review - I know some new vendors that had old clients do this to help them - it does strike as odd when some just seem so obviously fake. Suggestions? Advice? I don't have much to offer as like you said it probably is just the way of the world. I hope for your sake though and all others, that the vendors you choose are stand up people and the positive reviews you did read are legit. Everyone will always have good and bad because everyone has different taste and standards. Good luck girl. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Never hurts to have an excuse to drink hehehe! They look great. I did all my crafting alone too, once we got really down to the wire hubby would help some lol -
Over thinking. If in Canada you would get a quote for one or the other with the airline. Ours was RM side. Our guests who wanted to upgrade to ocean view (that's the only difference) did so at check in. Each side has stuff near the rooms - pools, Buffett, etc so I wouldn't worry about this. They aren't that far apart. Maybe a 5 min walk from main lobby. Mayan side is closer to beach but again not that far from RM side IMO Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I know you feel like a bridezilla, but you aren't. We had to do this a few times with our wedding and people don't take it near as bad as we imagine. heck we had a guy 3 days before we left to Mexico ask if his 2 kids could attend. We said no. Not only were we at capacity, but i had already made everything and had them packed! You had 9 months notice to ask if they could come and you wait until 3 days before we leave? NOT!!! we told numerous people we were out of seats. Some were 'snooze you lose' and others were the case of guests had tried to invite them and we either said no, or considered it and then gave our answer. I personally don't feel you need to contact these people yourselves, what a terrible situation these friends and coworkers have put you in. I personally would probably find out who invited them 100% and explain the situation to that friend and tell them they need to figure it out. Also I would probably add a note to my Facebook group 'I hate to have to say this, but it has come to my attention that some people are coming to Mexico for our wedding that are unable to attend our wedding celebrations. We are only allowed a set amount of people and unfortunately our closest friends and family were given these spots. We welcome you graciously to Mexico and hope you have a great week' I'd be so over it by now, i feel so terribly for you. I hope you can work this out, but honestly YOU ARE IN THE RIGHT! and have every right to turn them all down. I know I would, I don't put up with crap like that! grrrr!

OMGGG!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At this point I think your text was too nice, you need to be firm. You need to say 'that is great they are vacationing in Mexico, but they won't be attending my wedding as I have a set number of seats and they are already taken' End of story! I know it's awkward for your fiance, but people should understand this. No one at my work was offended that only 1 person got invited of the group. She was my close friend outside of work too. And generally most companies won't close so all can attend a wedding LOL!!! I would probably delete them from my wedding group because I can be like that, but I think you need to put your foot down before this gets more out of control. That is so ignorant to just assume all these people can go - what? is that boss paying for their cost PP at your wedding too? GRRRR I am angry for you. Sorry Edit: What I don't get is, do people just think they can show up to a wedding without an invite or having to RSVP? Are people really that ridiculous?

Can't tell to me! Yes of course I can see the difference between the two but since you won't be wearing them at the same time noone will be the wiser. At Spence Diamonds you can get a replica before yours is made or if your spouse took a payment plan. I had the replica twice (husband didn't want to bring real ring to Cuba to propose and then again when I waited for my new ring to be made (changed my engagement ring from the original)) Phew - anyways at quick glance you really couldn't tell. You'd have to know diamonds well to spot the differences. It's a good idea if you wanna wear it somewhere but are scared to lose it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That is highway robbery! I feel for you. Did you get a quote first? I did cause I didn't wanna have to barf in my mouth either. I had mine taken out twice, a hem and a bustle for $300 or $350. Haha can't remember now. Mine wasn't lace but had intricate bead work that needed duplicated. Sorry Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I forgot my tips. I had meant to ask her if tipping wait staff as a group was ok then since I forgot that I just forgot them all hahah so at the dinner I asked her and told her I would see her in the am with everything. So I tipped her the next morning. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Budgeting For Tips... How Much?

I had no idea. I gave ours $700 peso. Someone told me they did something similar so I just did that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I've never had any issues in any country. That said sure my system doesn't work like back home (if you get my drift) but no diarrhea or vomiting. I ate ALOT of lettuce in January and was fine. I was actually advised to be careful of too much fresh fruit. Hahahah I was told to watch my piña colada intake as coconut milk is a natural laxative but I was fine. I guess my friends resort in DR called them 'puerto plata splatas' lmao I also used bottled water for everything for washing. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
