I'd try Michael's or even Walmart. Look in the craft and kitchen section. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I Leave For Mexico In 30 Days!
calgarybride2015 replied to hellosassypants's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
Just keep plugging away!! I had a list and just kept crossing things off. Get your favors and gifts so you can start packing them -- if you are done with it, pack it. Makes the last week less stressful. Remember to organize your receipts and print your wedding paperwork - I printed the odd email that had a price in it that I wanted guaranteed but since I had my bill already it wasn't really needed. Also I made a list of what was in each suitcase and the quantities incase we did get checked at customs. Make any appointments you may need - nails, waxing, hair, etc. Ensure you have your final dress fitting and pick up set. It's just the time to tie up loose ends but the more you do now the less stress you'll feel the last week. Yay so exciting. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

Welcome and congrats. I'm partial to the resort I just married at hehe. Maybe check it out - grand sirenis riviera maya or Mayan beach. It's decent for price and it also has very reasonably priced wedding packages and extras Good luck! Oops maybe you are looking at the DR! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

OMG OMG!!! you are absolutely gorgeous, like seriously! Can't wait to see all the pictures. I LOVE the cocktail hour one, your husband looks awesome! I would have to look super close but your minister looks oddly similar to ours Glad it was everything you could have imagined and more. Congrats!!! EDIT: I went back and opened mine beside yours and it is a strong possibility we had the same minister hehehe!

@@TinkerSofi What you are saying makes absolute sense. We have 2 couples that came to Mexico with us that went to Vegas on a whim this weekend. And then are joining us again in August!!! Sure I sit here and think 'must be nice to travel all the time' but it doesn't go much farther than that. I think ' I WISH!" hahaha and am happy for them that they can do that. Everyone has a different situation though. They don't have kids, I have 2. We can't travel that easy because of that responsibility. We also have a very short time frame to save up for our down payment for a house. We have to be out of our current rental in September but hope that we can maybe purchase in 3 months because the market is starting to become VERY favorable. So everyone has a story and it's ok to think 'man I wish I had that' but you don't really mean it and you don't let it affect your communication and friendships with them. When it does get in the way I honestly believe there is a lot more going on than meets the eye and it may be best to distance yourself from it. If the friendship is meant to be, it will be be, but it's got to be mutual.- 23 replies

It is good to be prepared and to know how much you need to save for your wedding. I emailed the wedding department weekly with questions and for quotes on flowers, etc. I then got my wedding coordinator about 1 month out and that is when we firmed up all the little details, appointments, timeline scheduling, etc. Are you able to email the wedding department or do you have to go thru your travel company with questions? You would have to give me your email address. You can private msg it to me if that makes you more comfortable. Just click on my picture (I think) and it will bring you to my profile page where you can send me a msg.

Hey! welcome and congrats! http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/topic/38741-grand-sirenis-riviera-maya-brides Here is our main thread, but the later posts are the most up to date ones, we recently had a review from a UK bride I essentially had the silver package but got it for 'free' as I had enough guests book (you need 10 double rooms booked for 7 nights). That said I booked my wedding thru the hotel not a travel agent/airline back home. So unsure if they vary some in that regard. I have no issues emailing you all the extra price lists (they are 2014 but can give you an idea).... but since you didn't book thru the resort I am unsure if they would differ. Davina on the thread may have more insite as she is a UK bride who just got married there. Check out the link above. Also see below my msg, I have some links to pictures, my review, etc. I am always open to answering any questions you may have!

I always say you need to pick something you'll stick to forever. That's what I try to do -- I'm not going to deny things I love I'm just going to limit them!!! And 19 is not unattainable, heck if I can lose what I did we both can lose 20 lbs!!! It's all a mind set. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had 45 guests and my wedding only cost $6000. That was wedding day only Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I didn't marry at your resort but I was worried about the same thing. I didn't love any of the bouquets they sent me and lots look outdated. I was a bit worried about it, but they turned out gorgeous. I can only offer that you can trust them, just let them know what you want and provide a picture you found online if you have one. You have a lot of elders from this resort who have had gorgeous weddings, so trust in that.

I personally wouldn't be brave enough to pack all that glass in a checked bag, but you could bring it all in carry on. Most airlines allow 2 personal items on board (so a very large bag and a roller suitcase) for each of you, so you can potentially get A LOT in carry on!!! Also if this is what you want, ask people you are travelling with to carry some for you. I personally wouldn't check a box. From what I have heard and read about, those seem 'out of place' and would probably get picked thru! I would just get the largest suitcases you can find! You won't get taxed if you don't go over the amounts and since it is per person, you and your spouse both get it. Bring all your receipts and wedding contract info so you can say it's for a wedding. I had 11 bags and my dress and I didn't even get stopped.

I agree, but they also have the bar code scanner to help easily enter the food accurately I tend to eat a lot of the same things so I just had to search. Sometimes it would be easier to hand write it as I know the calories in most things now that I consume. I guess I could do it on paper and not track it via MFP if that was my only hold back! I love body pump for toning if you have a goodlife membership!
