  1. I didn't have one at Barcelo but I had one for our cocktail hour while we took pics. We paid $375 ish Canadian dollars for 3 men for 45 mins. People loved taking their photos with them. I don't regret the cost. Spiced up that hour for the guests. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. This was ours. All included in our package minus the flower petals sprinkled on the isle runner. I also believe they threw in the isle runner for free -- I don't recommend one though. Almost had some bridal party and my dad trip 3-4 times on it just walking down the isle !!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. My husbands family is massive. His dad had like 19 siblings and the list of cousins would make your head spin. That said there was no way we could invite everyone. He sat down and decided who he most wanted there and those were the only ones who got an invite. He didn't send a note or email or nothing to the others. Was that rude? No idea. No one was put off by it. A lot of times people realize DW are smaller and intimate and if you aren't close to immediate family you may not get an invite. But I also agree with Ann. If you invite them count them in your numbers because they may all say yes!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. I agree. You've gotten them a lot and they will be over the moon. One of my bridesmaids married in 2013 and I was her bridesmaid -- she was actually shocked with what I had given and I didn't think it was near enough. I think it's in our heads hehe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Could you order from their website? Also I'd check shoe warehouse/company and spring. Lots have glitter shoes right now Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. They seem to be cheaper due to the way they due business - they have their own manufacturing place in Vancouver, etc. Since it's lifetime warranty I would just assume they would only warranty things they have only touched. I want my done because of the style of the ring -- the bottom isn't twisted (probably so it can be sized easier) so when the ring spins on my finger that part that isn't shows and looks silly! (phew did that make sense?) but I am torn because I also want a second band for the other side but don't want to spend any money on that just yet. So would be silly to do it now, and then again later (I think each time you do it, the rings get a bit smaller). Decisions, decisions.
  7. Awesome! That's great! @@TinkerSofi, did Spence do yours? I want to get my rings sauddered (sp?) together but assume Spence has to do it for warranty purposes. I just hate that they are so far away LOL
  8. ohhhh that's a good price for dipping. A lady I work with had hers done and it was over $100!!! I was disgusted. Oh yes I know I don't need to dip mine, just wasn't sure what golds you did - I was told 19k gold didn't need dipping either. But am just not sure, because I know of some brides who have 14k gold and were never once told about dipping, they were shocked when I had mentioned the process to them.
  9. That is awesome! I love the little caption! I am going to check out that website, it is too bad you didn't know about it earlier (and me too haha).... but you did an awesome job on your invites!
  10. Glad you found someone you love and it all worked out Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Kristy. The lashes are awesome. A total difference everything you bought looks great. You are so close. My ring is platinum so I've been told I don't need it dipped but glad you can see the difference. Was it super expensive? I was actually told my first e-ring wouldn't need dipping either. It was 19k. Don't know the rules though?? I would probably speak to fiancé again about those gifts!! Or maybe on your next trip to Edmonton pick something out and text a pic to him for approval heheheh I would have been a bridezilla about that dress too. Can't wait to hear how it fits. 12. You don't really realize how much you have or in your case need until you start looking around!!! Sometimes it's hard to believe what I've accumulated over the years!!! It'll all come together in your beautiful new home Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. I totally agree with you. It's a tough situation. She's accepted to be involved but can't commit until the last minute -- how does dress ordering and stuff work? You know? Some of those things can't wait until the last minute unless your 'step in' BM is the same size. Tough call. I'd probably have a sensitive conversation with her and just say for the reasons of x and y (ie dresses or what not) you need a firm answer by this date. I totally think that's fair and I believe she would agree. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Hahaha my son has moves that like my friend gave me all our reception videos and man some are funny. May try to post a few. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hey not sure I can help. Don't think anyone had stiletto type heals at my wedding - only flats or wedges. Don't recall it being uneven like some of the paths around the resort hehe but gaps between the boards hmmmm I have to say I feel you'd be fairly safe but you'd probably want some flats anyways if you plan to dance all night like we did I'll take a closer look at my pics and see if I can get a close up of the floor but I'm 99.9% sure you'd be safe. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. Awesome. Loved it. Super impressed you said all that with no tears!! And of course I have to ask - where those any of the famous moves that split his pants? Hehe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Awesome. One of my bridesmaids had a brooch bouquet. It was purdy if you ever need more inspiration pics I can post one. You've done awesome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. She can still be your MOH. You just have two and one can't come I think she still should have all the MOH roles in Mexico and she should still be allowed to be involved back home (if she chooses, I know some enjoy a more hands off role). It's ok for 2!!!!! Glad she stepped in. Ps - sorry your other MOH can't come but still wants to be involved at home!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. I don't own the go pro so don't wanna pay for software lol but I'll try the iMovie app. Ohhhh but maybe it's free!!!!! Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Maybe instead of googling video programs I'll google go pro editing apps Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I think that's what I downloaded that didn't work Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Question for those with go-pros--we had a friend tape our ceremony with a go-pro, it says the file is to big to upload to Facebook. So I tried to upload it to photbucket and it said it has to be under 10 mins and it's 10:34 lol!!! I want to shorten the video so I downloaded movie maker but the file type isn't supported. Any ideas on programs I can use that support go-pro file types? Thanks. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. I only did invites, that said.... I had a friend tell me to my face she couldn't come and to take lots of pictures for her. So with that said I didn't send her an invite. One day I was sending her some pictures of wedding stuff I was working on and I got 'would have been nice to be invited' I explained my side and she never responded so NEXT. Don't need the drama. So while I think I'd still skip over no's after that incident maybe it's just safer to send them to everyone. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
