Hugs!! Good luck tomorrow. If you make no head way call ACV yourself. It's essentially a no no when you have a TA but they will talk you thru what needs to happen and how this even happened to begin with. When they cancelled my flight and I had to wait a month for an alternate I was dying. I called them myself cause I didn't wanna wait as my TA kept telling me to do. Hahaha they just reiterated what she did but made me feel better to hear it from them too. Now I trust her 100%. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ugh is right! Not to stand up for AC but isn't the input into the system your TA's job? I know yours had a lot to do with that and had us double check at the start, then again after the itineraries went out. I'd be having a frank convo with her! So is it all getting fixed? Dress Advice

Looks fantastic on you. Love the style and the belt!! If you love it, go for it. It's your day Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Congrats! We had it on our wedding website but we also sent out a pre travel brochure with luggage tags that had this info in it as well. Also two nights before we left I sent a mass email . Hope that helps On the wedding website I mentioned I had planned to do it, in the pre travel brochure I firmed up time and location for the welcome drinks but it wasn't until my mass email that I could confirm location of the rehearsal dinner as I didn't have this info from the resort yet. Any Ontario Brides To Be Of 2015?!
calgarybride2015 replied to IzzyDeee's topic in Canadian Destination Wedding Group
So true! I always search for Canadian vendors first as their shipping (most of the time) isn't horrendous. There was a few things for the wedding I HAD to have, where I had to suck up shipping - labels for my tumblers and my blume box vases, otherwise I was mindful. I also made a trip to the USA as I had some stuff shipped there to save on the cost. Have you considered this? It's called 'border shopping' I think and you can use sites like kinetic and ship to their 'depots' in each border city. Neat idea!- 52 replies

I borrowed one from a past bride but didn't end up using it - ran out of time. After the fact I wish I had so they could have used them to record room numbers (it was needed lol). I don't have it anymore though, sorry. It was @@tygrrlily who shared it. My recommendation though will all those pics is to use publisher. I found word harder to manipulate even with her template already done. Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hope you feel better!!! Both ties are great. I like the color of tie two better but both are nice I think blue or grey pants would be nice. Grey may be more safe unless you can find a matching blue or one that contrasts nicely with his shade. Was contrast the right word? Hahaha Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank You Cards
calgarybride2015 replied to kellymiller's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
I didn't know the tradition, I'd probably still send a thank you card anyways for attending. Some traditions are odd. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Weight loss is definately 80% diet Toning will make you look better when the lbs are shed. I've put on about 20 since I got engaged - coming from a large loss of over 100lbs it's scary I can't get my act together. (About 15 over comfort zone. 6 ish pre wedding and 10 after in this I don't have rules honeymoon phase lmao). Clothes are snug and I feel gross. Time to get it together. We can keep eachother motivated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thank You Cards
calgarybride2015 replied to kellymiller's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
Oh I think if they gave a gift or not they need a thank you note. They spent a lot of time and money to go - you just leave out the gift part as it doesn't apply! That's what I did anyways Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Thank You Cards
calgarybride2015 replied to kellymiller's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
For the most part we only had to send cards to people who came to Mexico, but had a few for people (99% co workers) who gave us gifts that didn't attend the wedding. Generally I just thanked them for traveling to Mexico. That it meant the world to us to have them there to start our new journey together. Just your basic thank yous. Then I went into specifics per person - thanked them for the gift they gave (if they did), if they were in the bridal party I thanked them for that, if they were at the bachelorette, etc. or organized it, if they helped with the kids in Mexico or what have you -- I personalized them per person. I also threw in some fun memories if we created some, etc. Everyone also got extra pictures in their cards. Almost everyone there had their photo taken with us at the wedding. If they didn't we had them in a group picture at some point as we did the families, all the girls, all the guys, etc. with the photographer. For family and the bridal party I threw in some extras of those as well. For our witnesses back home, I also sent them a special card thanking them for being a part of the process of making our marriage official even if they wouldn't be in Mexico. Hope that helps! I think people are just happy to get a thank you, I wouldn't stress to much what is in it. -
Our Dw: Dreams Riviera Cancun 17 Apr 2015
calgarybride2015 replied to pddcmc's topic in Destination Wedding Planning Journal
Soooo close now! I was worried about the tags getting wrecked to being pre attached but we had no issues on both the maracas and the fans. 10 days is going to fly by. I didn't realize people stopped mail anymore, maybe because I have a community mail box and get lots by email in way of bills. I wish they'd just stop sending them lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
This was the big reason why we didn't want any connecting flights! Less chance. We had ours tagged as ;'priority' as we got first class, but really did that help? everyone's baggage made it. Just remind yourself once you get there you have a couple days grace just in case, but you will BE OK!!!!! Don't stress yourself about these things you can't control. Just make sure all the MUST haves (like shoes, jewelry, outfits (dress, suit, etc.) go on the plane with you. I asked myself 'what would be most upsetting if it didn't make it?' really just what we had to wear, the ring bearer shell, flower girl pail, and (possibly laughable) the maracas, so those all came on board with us. The wedding will still go on without your OOT items, frames, etc.
