  1. @@MissFrench I was told not to wash your hair the day of your wedding as that day old hair can help to keep it styled. The day before I showered before dinner and didn't use any product, except minimal hairspray. I just woke up and went and they worked their magic. I have frizzy thick hair too but had an updo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Ohhhh hahaha I totally read yours wrong. You were just a nervous mess as was I. I was also very blindsided but wouldn't have wanted any other way. My right hand was so swollen so I just wore it on the left. At the end of the day does it matter?!?! Hehe too many traditions! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. You don't wear your engagement ring on your left finger? I'm confused hehe I just meant on the day of the wedding I thought we were supposed to wear it on the right as he places the band on the left. Then you just move the engagement ring over with the band later on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Awesome changes. I second what @@TinkerSofi said. I fall off lots but I get back on! I have some handouts for you. I can scan and email them? I chose the patient centered ones but if you want more info I can get the doctor centered ones too. If you would like them just PM me your email. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. Adorable. You look awesome. 44 days is so soon!! Yay! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I had planned to wear my engagement ring on my right finger but it didn't fit in the heat. Thankfully it fit on my left still so just wore it on that finger. Personal preference I say! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. A lot of brides also use Etsy. Just make sure you read their reviews to ensure they are reputable. It's kind of like eBay that way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. We had 3 under 9 at our wedding - my twins and my friends son. I have some awesome shots of them dancing and playing and even a precious one of my daughter having a meltdown. Wouldn't have changed a thing. But don't kid yourself next vacay is just the 2 of us lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. I did that with my review after learning the hard way the first round of my planning thread and since my review took over a week I could start/stop with no issues. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Yay!!! Congrats. You are going to have the time of your life Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I didn't get into the fuel band. I know it gave points but for what? I saw no point. The fit bit seems to do more things I'd use. How accurate is the watch HRM? I know with the chest strap you don't have to ever touch it as it reads your actual HR but I know some Of the wrist ones each time your intensity changes you need to 're set' it so it can pick up your new HR. Hopefully it's more intelligent than that!!!?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Weather was beautiful. Little windy on the beach but was a god send when we were all dressed up! I think you'd be happy! I don't regret it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. Is it sad that I really want a fitbit as it's a fitness gadget that syncs with MFP but overall I'm not sure what it does? Haha I have a HRM (polar ft4) but that's more for my workouts. I had a nike fuel band but sold it as I really didn't understand what it's point was (was a gift). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Lol very true. Although I guess I lied, my MOH held my bouquet but it was probably not pointed at me but the guests. I guess though if you planned for it to be in the bouquet than whoever is holding it would try to position it as best as possible. Probably safer a guest or professional does it lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Our guest taped ours with his go pro. If you go to my planning thread below it's on one of the last pages. One in the bouquet would be fun but it would have just showed my husbands chest the whole ceremony lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I'm already married but very curious where you got married? Beautiful setting Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. I'm kimad on my fitness pal. But don't have a fit but YET. That's my 10 lbs lost goal Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Love the nails. Post a pic of the final product yay one more sleep Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Great advice @@TinkerSofi!! I agree with the weight. Being overweight does cause issues for mom in pregnancy and post partum and can make you considered high risk. But also when you are overweight you can have a harder time conceiving. Given the PCOS can interfere with this for some people, he is probably trying to provide solutions wherever possible! 20. Oh good point on the hangers. Most hotels are like that but oddly my resort had normal ones. You will have all the pictures too whether you keep some articles or not, so really I could see you flipping thru a photo book or on your pc more than pulling out your memory box. I've had my memory box open twice since we got home! I don't regret my hanger but knowing what I know now, it's not an end of the world item. Bahah as for the garter. No idea who has mine? I took it off myself (we didn't do garter toss) because it hurt. I had a mark on my leg for days. That said people took turns wearing it and it was never seen again lol. All comes down to what matters to you and what doesn't. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Oh hun, hugs! I can only imagine how hard it must be for you to digest all this news. Are you in Canada or USA? (Sorry on my phone). Was your doctor just a GP or were they an OB/Gyne? I don't have PCOS but as an obstetrical / women's health nurse I can tell you that I see pregnant women often with PCOS. When I'm at work tomorrow I will find you some good reliable documentation I can send you. I also wanna throw in that you can do anything you set your mind too. I was 280lbs and have thyroid issues and I've lost around 120lbs. I struggle all the time but it's persistence and consistency! You can do it. I can talk about this all day so when you are ready I'm here to support you. I hope someone with more experience than I will pop in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Ohh can't wait to see his ring Honestly you are right about the hanger. Yes the wooden hotel one is nicer than the plastic one but mine is sitting in my closet. Not even with my dress. They are more a keepsake. I used mine and quickly realized I couldn't as it got bent out of shape being moved all over and banged up beside things (my fault). So when we went to Mexico I packed it instead and even then it didn't do well. If you do get one I recommend traveling with it how they packed it to mail to you and only use it for pictures until that's over. They are too fragile from my experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. Awesome! I shouldn't say I did this on purpose I just know I didn't pay for flowers on the cake and I know she took some from the hanging flowers for the cake. Sooooo just throwing it out. Glad there is give and take. Sucks not to be able to use things you pay for Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. If you have ceremony flowers could they pick some from there to use on your cake? Just a thought so as not to pay more. That's what I did lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
