I think $1375 for the Iberostar Varadero is awesome! $1145 is SMOKING!!! awesome!! I have only been to Cuba once and went at the end of March and it cost us $1700 for the upgraded room, so I think you did well. We are pretty laid back too and didn't want a lot of fuss. All we did was the bachelorette/bachelor parties. Since we married in January we decided to do them before Christmas, so I was Nov 15 and Shawn Nov 29. Not that I suggest you do them that far in advance, BUT I think you should do them more than a week before. Your last weekend before you fly out is going to be SUPER busy getting last minute stuff in order and trying to do it with a hangover will not be fun. Heck, I was fed SO much booze I didn't even make it to the bar. I was a hurting unit. Just my two cents hehehe!!! September really isn't that far away now! Like I have said before, Cuba has a special place in my heart and I love you are marrying here.

Hello, I can email you what I have, although my spreadsheets on cakes and flowers is outdated, but will give you an idea. They don't have a spreadsheet of centerpieces to my knowledge -- if you sent them a picture or described something you liked they would quote it and give you a comparable picture to what you would get. I used my bridesmaid's bouquets as my centerpieces and I brought all my own decorations. My bridesmaid's bouquets was something I had them quote -- 4 gerberas and greenery with white ribbon. I never went into the chapel but I have seen pictures and they looked beautiful. The chapel is by the palapa where I had my reception and the scenery is beautiful! I personally don't feel you can lose here. Beautiful resort and weddings!

Hey! No I have a suspicion he didn't let it heal properly. He drives truck for work and probably didn't wear the boot long enough. Visually you can tell it's been repaired and there is just a lot of scar tissue there that I think it rubs and gets angry. He doesn't seek care when it does. I'm sure there are much better outcomes. Ugh I've never had a pilonidal cyst but I've helped drain them. I feel for you! I can't believe it randomly drains itself. That must hurt like a ****. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hey! I had a family of 4 and with our bride/groom luggage upgrade we got 6 suitcases included. I used them all. One for cups, smaller one for maracas, and the other for decor and extra kid stuff. Then 3 for clothes. I had welcome drinks - not a booked event just had everyone meet in the lobby bar the first evening and I handed the cups out. My OOT items were inside the cups everyone got to meet everyone and it was fun. People really enjoyed it. Hope that helps. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Going around handing them out sounds stressful. For a couple reasons -- when you arrive you are wanting to settle and get unpacked etc and trying to get everyone's numbers could be a hassle. Then if you go and they aren't in their rooms you gotta remember who got one and didn't. I vote for just having a welcome event and handing them out! That's just me though. I arrived with over 30 of our guests and I agree about having as much as possible ready to go. My sister came and helped get them unwrapped and into beach bags to carry to the welcome drinks. We landed at 230pm and were to the resort by 5pm. The welcome drinks was at 730pm. Everyone came. It was a tad stressful for me as the Cancun airport shot my nerves but I'm glad I got it over with on day one!!! People had the stuff to use. People weren't off exploring and drinking and such. Worked well for us. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Sorry to hear about what you are going thru! You are a strong lady and I have no doubt, but the process must get so frustrating for you, so hugs! The key holders look great, they turned out fantastic!!! My boss has stayed at the Yucatan Princess, just late last year. If you want her review I can email her today, but I never heard any bad, so I have to assume she had a great time!

I didn't pay for my bridesmaids hair. They knew that I didn't mind whether they do it themselves or at the spa and I just gave them the price list so they knew the charge depending on what they decided. In the end they all chose to have their hair and makeup done at the spa and they each paid for their own. I've been in another wedding where I was left to choose myself and the bride didn't cover the charges. From what I've seen (I asked around lol) most people I know paid that themselves so no one was upset by this as it seems to be the norm.....around here anyways . I'd say just give them their options and go from there. But I agree with the above comment that if you require them to use the spa you may want to help with the payment for same. Otherwise I say giving them the option and leaving the fee with them is ok. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
