Blissful Bridal has beautiful dresses and the one i snook a peak at was $800!! I went there for hair accessories. I also went to Ever After. Yes you can definitely be sneaky @@yycbride2016 I do want to say that you will find David's Bridal is not like the boutique stores. I found they had one on one and David's Bridal ladies are run thin. The lady would grab things for me, but I found the boutiques would grab things that actually looked good as they have more experience. (could be because David's is fairly new in Calgary too) So definately have your girlfriends running around finding things for you as well -- that's how we found the one I bought. That said, my dress was the same price online. If you are on the 'shop online' part and choose Canada the prices should match. I agree though, not all the dresses are in store and if you have to search for them yourself it can be tricky. Just be firm you need the ladies help. Mine was pregnant so maybe she was just having an off day. We came back for the BM attire she was much more attentive, although it was very slow then. Good luck, can't wait to hear about it.

Glad you had a great time!! I can only imagine Chippendales! I've been in August and don't recall my sandals melting, HOLY CRAP!!! We are going in August this year for a week and sometimes I wonder why I agreed to this LOL!!! I find the heat in Mexico was more intense than Vegas. Sure it's not as hot, but that heat/sun is just more in your face! Glad you didn't burn though! Can't wait to see your necklace!

OMG I love you in all three of those dresses! I wonder if David's would have something similar but at a more decent price point! I think I looked into JJ's House but was nervous to order online from another country. Def. do some research on here too because there are a lot of thread about online ordering. Your mom's came from this one too right? I know it's very common for bridal stores NOT to allow you to take pics. I think more say no, than allow you too. kind of annoying I agree, but I guess I can see their side too.

I'd look at the regulations on their website. Most let the dress go and don't count it but I know that wasn't the case for a recent bride here. My airline allowed a large personal bag and a small suitcase per person as carry on. Then I had my dress. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

The nice thing, wedding wise, about the GS is that if you use the private beach the rocks are all there so the seaweed can't get up on the sand where the ceremony would be It's a pretty resort and modern! Blows my mind!! Did you take any pics of it at GS? I have some random pics from January that show that the beach where you entered the water was fine, but off towards to the spa there was some. But nothing like that! I think it must be worse now than before.

That is terrible!! I can't even believe they could just cancel all your flights and have nothing else to offer that's close. What happened? That is terrible the other flights are already full. I feel for you. Have you found any resort reviews for that Barcelo property on here? I believe the Barcelo is a trusted name and if you've done some research - ie like the reviews (trip advisor and here), like the looks, like the wedding packages it would be a bonus to keep your wedding date!!! Hey! I didn't do STD just paper boarding pass invites. Honestly I used a template from 'Aylee bits' on the internet and printed them at home. I made 25 ish invites and they cost around $35. It was very cost effective. The odd guest didn't get an invite for various reasons. Since it's a destination wedding I believe whatever you are comfortable with goes! Hi Robyn! I've negotiated prices but not with the Mariachi. I went thru out hotel for our 3 man band and we paid approx $375 Canadian. That said, other brides around my dates were reporting 2-3x more at their resort!!!!! No joke so I was pretty impressed with our fee! So with that said $450 doesn't seem completely ludacris. I have no recommendations for you for on an outside source. Just remember if you bring one in from off the resort and/or not on a preferred vendor list you will pay an outside vendor fee that can be pricey! Omg!!! Thanks for the heads up! I had an issue with David's Bridal but they were willing to order me another dress. The manager talked me thru why they chose the size they did blah blah and in the end I agreed and had it taken out instead. That said, your experience was terrible! I'm so sorry you are dealing with this so close to your big day! I agree with Ann that you could file with the BBB. At the very least you are heard. Ugh I can see why June means so much to you Hopefully your TA can recommend some other spots for you. I have only been to Mexico and Cuba, but my dad LOVED Aruba. I loved Cuba too - not sure what their rainy season is. Of course, being in Cuba there would be some compromises, but with the USA allowing trade again (I believe??) things may change. I hope you guys can come to some sort of a compromise, but just remember -- just because it rained this week in 2015 doesn't mean it will in 2016!!! Good luck!
