Fuchsia was my color lol. I think indoors it gives off a darker feel but in the sun you get the bright pink that it is. Also depends on the material in which you are using the color in. The swatch is satin but our dresses were chiffon for the most part but a layer of satin under ..... so def different in that way. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

Hey so it's called Ochre Studio and she sees Meena. She does mink and silk. Generally there is a sale for a full set for $55-$65. Fills are $30-$50 depending on how much you need filled. I think my coworkers look great and they are noticeable because I asked her how she got such great lashes lol Ps - I just did flash lashes and the notice was large as well because I'm not used to wearing more than mascara. So I think you will be just as happy! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I think but depending on the camera sometimes it looked darker than it was. I think it's more fuchsia than magenta though - well the begonia color anyways hehe. See my links below for my wedding pics Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can't find the thread now, but if you search 'AHR before wedding' you will find a lot of threads. From a quick glance I found these terms used - send off party - bon voyage party - kick off party

Hello! This has come up before but it's been awhile. I personally wouldn't call it a shower as I agree I wouldn't invite people to a shower I didn't invite to the wedding. I'm also not sure id call it a reception as it's before the wedding. I remember people calling it a 'send off' to Mexico or whatever destination. I'll try to search the thread. Stay tuned. Hopefully someone who remembers the thread will jump in. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ugh that is absolutely frustrating!! Did you ask to speak to the manager? I know sometimes there is probably no point. I just had that the other day with a clerk at a medical office for continuity of care, I was so shocked at what was going on I just agreed and hung up. Should have asked to speak to her manager! That said, refresh my memory (sorry I read so many threads haha) is the resort spa doing your makeup? If yes, they may do the fake eyelashes as a part of the package! Mine did ... she just asked me while doing my makeup if I wanted them and I said yes. I know sometimes ladies bring them and have the spa apply theirs! I have a friend who sells this special 3D mascara. I think it's $35 but when she is wearing it I can tell and I am shocked how well it works. I keep meaning to buy some and forget. Trying to remember the name of it.

We had ours November 1st ish for our January 21st wedding. 3 months out my resort wanted a final head count so we said that after that date we couldn't change it. That said by that point we only have 2 couples unsure and they had booked by then. I actually ended up just buying 50 of everything so had 5 to many! Just because I ordered stuff early on! I'd say 2-3 months before is reasonable and if people can't commit by then I would assume it's a no. Ie most people need to book holidays off work, the trip, etc. But we made special exceptions where needed. We had one couple would couldn't request 2015 holidays until November 1st 2014 so we chose that date for for them. That said they approached us about it early on. They didn't come to us last minute. People! I find this quite common actually. Not sure if people forget social media makes things public or they don't care LOL!! Shawn's cousin was going to do our engagement photos, we had the day set up, etc. She called to cancel saying she had to work but then posted pics all day on FB of her trip to Banff. Shawn was already uneasy about her but this put him over the edge. We haven't talked to her since LOL.... Hopefully in the next 2 weeks you get your final headcount.

Thanks ladies, now I feel a bit better about it!!!! I think maybe we will do the wine, massage oil, and 'the sex bible' book @@TinkerSofi, hahah!!! that is awesome. And in all honesty, it's probably a good idea to have those things on hand, especially 25 years into marriage. I can only imagine So it's nice to see all ages alike welcomed it

I haven't done mine yet (post wedding) because I really can't justify the cost. I'm assuming it would be $300-$500 a groupon is a good idea. That said my seamstress recommended Gilette and they have 2 locations in Calgary. I may have spelt that wrong but it's like the men's products hahha. If you research them and can't find it let me know and I'll find the card I have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think everything looks fantastic love the little boxes and the message in a bottle escort cards are fantastic. Love them! Honestly your calligraphy is perfect for 'Robert' and I think either way (your hand writing or the computer) they are good Secondly, wow!!! She's a treat. Even if I thought it and said it to my fiancé I would never ever post something like that on social media. I mean really? Wow!!! And having grown up having my name spelt wrong 15 million times (it's KimberlEy) I've just accepted it and honestly barely notice it anymore. My symbolic wedding certificate from the GS has my name spelt wrong. Whatever. She needs to get over herself. Edit - my husband says if they come to Mexico at the reception you should say 'thank you to Dave and what's your name again? For coming' hahahah Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk @@Wafflesmom -- just read your post. I am biatch like that too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've never heard of open office. Do you have any Microsoft programs? I find publisher a bit easier to use although I suffered thru word to do our boarding pass invites as that's what the template was made in. I rent Microsoft office for $10/month. Now I've probably paid for it lol but it may be an option for you if you need it for other wedding planning. Then you can cancel when you are done with it. I think if you did an email invite sending people to your website that would be totally ok! I find anything goes with DW so whatever you would like to do. If you end up making them please post the finally product Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

$20 Shutterfly Gc
calgarybride2015 replied to vancouverpetunia's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade or Freebies!
So awesome of you I used Shutterfly for my thank you cards and don't recall paying anything more than shipping. What stings right now is the exchange rate as it's in USD Some bride will love this I'm sure!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I wasn't sure where to post this, but here works I am attending a vow renewal (10 years) in Las Vegas in 3 weeks, yay!! Anyways, I have no idea what etiquette for gifts is? I assume you would still get them something right? @@acw271011 since you are about to renew your vows I would love your opinion. We were thinking about maybe making them a sexy package and having the hotel deliver it to their room while we are at their renewal. We were thinking a bottle of wine, a nice card, massage oils, bubble bath -- then a little gag with handcuffs, penis candies, condoms, a sexy time book, etc. Now our friends will NOT be offended by this, they are awesomely fun people, but is that appropriate as a gift? Would just wine and strawberries be better? Any ideas are appreciated. Thank you!!!!!

Awe you are so cute. He won't get tired of you -- you are married!!!!! (or will be in 19 days yay!!!) You don't have to let go of all that, you two will just reinvent the way it works... Sometimes it's hard to believe I've been married for 6 months now, I sit in disbelief sometimes that I am married and this is my life forever. It's exciting You have your partner in crime to forge ahead with, to dream, to set goals & achieve them, to start a family, etc. It's an amazing feeling...
