  1. Hope the stress levels calm down. Just remember there is a light at the end of the tunnel now. 4 days of work and you are off to paradise. You'll get it done Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. If the price can't be beat then it may be easier to get them and try to sell them as you mentioned above Even on sites like kijiji or craiglist!!! Lots of wedding items for sale secondhand locally! EDIT - not that you would want a secondhand bubble wand, but you got my point LOL!!!!
  3. Have you tried a dollar store? I know Dollarama has a wedding section that sells bubbles - they aren't wands, but for the price you'd pay you may be ok with it. They are more little containers. Even Dollar Tree I would check out. Ebay or Amazon also have great deals.
  4. I've never been to Jamaica but def go and scope of the vendor reviews at the top of the page. Past brides may have reviewed Jamaican coordinators. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. It's really pretty. I can see what you said about the top boning. Hopefully you can fix that yourself. I think it looks great though and not cheap! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Welcome and congrats! Joyce at Dream Weddings is a lady often used by the ladies on this site. She is a member so hopefully she pops in. I know a current bride @@acw271011 is using her or has consulted with her. For your look a lot of brides use Styling Trio or MVP or Beso Brides just to name a few. Just check out the reviews section you can find a lot of vendors for different things Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. This time next week you will be in Mexico!!!!!! may this week fly by for you
  8. I can't speak for sky lanterns but if you google sparklers on here you will find they are a large no no on the plane. It's a restricted item as I believe they throw it in the 'fireworks' category. I know Katy from Love and Lace in playa sells them (she has a Facebook site) and some ladies mentioned that some dj's so as well - depending if you are using one. Good luck!! And enjoy, can't believe how close you are. Congrats Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. Welcome!! I also had an AI wedding with 45 people and the wedding itself was around $5500. With photography I paid around $7500. We paid our AI package over and above that cost plus my dress, decor, favors, etc. Sooooo I'd say it's totally doable!!! I've only researched AI but hopefully @@acw271011 jumps in as hers is off site. Another bride used the Venado Beach club (sorry if I spelt that wrong). Good luck. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Awe love it. The idea is fantastic and looks like she did a fabulous job. The tea pot guest book idea is awesome. A nice keepsake. For both you ladies it'll be here before you know it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Sorry Helen I had a symbolic ceremony so I'm not sure. I would email them and ask. I do know from other resorts and numerous reading on these boards that the certificate seems to come in the mail weeks to months after you go home. But again beat to check with the WC at the GS Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Congrats on booking your resort! It looks beautiful and I know that is a load off you for Super exciting you may meet up with MrsCtoB there as well! Love your key card holders!! Can't wait to see your dress
  13. 71 is unreal!!! Wow!!! 8-10 -- it's your choice and the table size will be done to accommodate. That's for round tables. But if you plan to have a dance floor then I'd do less tables and more people at each . I had 4 tables and the head table. I could see 2-3 more tables in there then it'd be tight for a large dance space. Party City has good stuff. I've been in their Calgary store! What types of things were you thinking of ordering? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Glad everything is coming together. Is Juan's dad going to Mexico? I believe he is, so I can understand his nerves if he won't even take a sick day. I am glad you were able to compromise so he could be there. Glad everything is working out with the photographer. I am also very controlling and I was able to let go. It makes it so much more enjoyable when you just let them do their job and you enjoy your moment. You will be fine You are in good hands.
  15. Good luck. Please post when you are done Hahah I brought our paper cutter home from work often. I found it worked much better than the cheaper ones I had bought from michaels. For my boarding passes I just cut a straight edge I didn't round the corners. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. I think with Spence it takes 2 weeks so in super happy to say you have no time woohoo!! It's coming so fast. Spence told me I had to use them for any 'work' or it voids the warranty. Just incase you planned to go elsewhere. Maybe that's not true but I'll use them anyways why haven't you wone your ring? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Yes I have considered that as well. I may solder my two I have now together and leave the third one apart. Decisions we have to make hehe! Actually truth be told, I may never get them soldered together because I don't want to give them up for 2-3 weeks haha!
  18. That's so cute!!! My husband bought the groomsmen gifts the week before we left so I'm certain this also something he'd never do lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. @@deecol no you can't see them. When you attach do you use the 'best' option? If not try that...I find sometimes that's my problem. Ohhh but that's when im on my phone. If on your pc make sure it's an IMG link. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. A lot Of times I hear brides get another one for the one year anniversary. My husband knows I want one and I did want it sooner so I could have all three soldered at the same time but I've held off but I my plan is to have a band on each side too!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. From my experience the bubba's will get used more than a bag full of amenities they probably already packed!!! I did the tumblers with an 'oh shit' kit because the bubbas were too much for us, but looking back I kinda of wish I would have just done the bubbas and nothing else Oh and score on the free beach bags... that's awesome
  22. The Grand Sirenis also has a facebook group and lots from the UK! $800 is stupid! I mean I only paid $500 for my dress for crying out loud! I think for my DIY invites we paid around $35! hahah! You aren't cheap, you are smart!
  23. $1750PP I think sounds good. I've never seen it that cheap as I've kept my eye open as I'd love to go there. Edit - except the $1250pp which blew me away. I just wanted to jump in and say -1 in July?!?!? Time to move hahah jk! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
