No mine wasn't worded that way. In the package handouts there was a fee to upgrade your location. So I paid around $11800 peso to upgrade from the semi private ala carte to the palapa. With that I had the cost for the meal and such extra, but ceremony wise -- no I just got it all included in the free package. So I got all my decor/gazebo and I got all the chairs and white covers (I paid more for the ribbons) and I got all the appis and toast drinks for all guests. I was worried id have to pay for more chairs and appis/toast drinks over the 10 but I was told that this cost was covered in the per person fee charged for dinner. I'll turn on my pc right now and post exactly what I paid for. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I paid around $980 to upgrade from the free package to have the palapa. But after that my ceremony fees were included in the free package. So the chuppah with white shears and 2 hanging flower pieces as well as the flowers on the minister's table were NOT an extra cost. At @@yycbride2016 you are paying to upgrade to the palapa and for an arch? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Your daughter in law doesn't sound all that pleasant or supportive at all. I could understand if she was busy and the shipments had to be picked up from a postal outlet an hour away lol but that isn't the case. Wow. I have no idea. I'd say ask your son but if she withholds visiting rights then probably best not too. Sorry you have to go thru that. Not sure how your son copes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Janjin's Planning Thread - Azul Sensatori
calgarybride2015 replied to Janjin's topic in Destination Wedding Planning Journal
Congrats!!!! Do you know how far your resort is from the airport?? If you land at 1 I'd give yourself 3 hours to get to the resort to be safe. You also have check in and to get settled. I think booking for 5 may feel a tad rushed. We landed at 230pm and had our welcome event at 7 (maybe 730 - drawing a blank) and I felt stressed out. Was very rushed. But our resort was an hour from Cancun. I wouldn't do it any earlier than 5 but you may want to push it back just in case. Worst case you can grab a snack before you go. A s'mores bonfire sounds fantastic. Love your dress Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I asked you this before I think but what do you mean by archway? Do you want something different than what's included? I have the 2014 price list that will atleast give you an idea of what's extra and the potential cost. I'm sure it's went up some. Sooooo odd they wouldn't send it already. I got all the info when I booked my wedding. If you want me to send it over just msg me your email. Even with all my extras the presidential package would have been thousands more as it wasn't all inclusive. Had lots I didn't need and lots I wanted but didn't include. Wynn Wedding?!
calgarybride2015 replied to newlyengaged12's topic in Destination Weddings in Las Vegas
Yes it is pricey but if you've ever been in the Wynn it certainly will wow you. Gorgeous location. I really wanted to marry in Vegas but Mexico won. So many places!! Paris was high on my list as well. I have a friend from high school who married at Mandalay Bay and another at Flamingo. All gorgeous. I saw your other post. When do you plan to marry? Depending how far you want to drive you could do the Oregon coast or Seattle. I've heard it's gorgeous. Seattle def is . LA and San Fran are also good choices. I've never been but have friends who go a lot. Lots to see and do there. And it's not too too far a drive. If you drove you may be able to see the Hoover Dam and Grand Canyon too - they are Arizona though. Absolutely breathtaking. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Gorgeous!! I think you have enough for your ceremony. The decor is perfect and the backdrop will top it off. Great job!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

reception table set-up pic's
calgarybride2015 replied to jaynreneewed's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
The vases lay flat which I am sure helped. I used the blumeboxes too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
You look stunning. That's a gorgeous dress Breaking in shoes suck. You just gotta wear them but I recommend using a band aid or tape at the regular pressure/rub points to protect from blisters. If there is a way to break in shoes, ladies I'm all ears. I have some I don't wear cause of blisters. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wynn Wedding?!
calgarybride2015 replied to newlyengaged12's topic in Destination Weddings in Las Vegas
Just want to say congrats!!! I just got back today from my honeymoon in Vegas. I LOVE the Wynn. If you can make it affordable in your budget I vote for that. There is a Vegas section but not too many brides recently. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Everything looks fantastic. Nice work!! I agree on having a card box as well. Just easier to keep the cards and whatever else in one place. We did post cards for our guestbook so it doubled for both. Now I use the box as my memory box and have one of everything we did in it and all our cards, etc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

We had an upgrade to first class with Air Canada so between us and our 2 kids we got 6 free bags. We then each had carry on - 2 per person (bag/purse and small suitcase). In total we had about 11 bags. Def know your airlines carry on limits and use those to the max. Don't just carry a purse but carry a weekender bag and a small suitcase, etc. Also you may not end up sitting in economy anywhere near your family so it may be worth it just to upgrade. Unless you plan to select your seats and theirs beforehand? We had 31 people on our flight and they were scattered everywhere. Just a thought. I carried 48 tumblers. I got most into a 30 inch suitcase. Depending on the cup size and if you can stack them it's doable. Good luck Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@@TaraMarie33 What is the cost for the archway? You mean the one you stand at with the minister? That's included with the flowers in all Wedding packages. I know the Tiffany chairs are an upgrade Forsure. Not sure why an external vendor fee though I can send you my price breakdown if you want. I had the free package and upgraded @@JoannaBanana I had the basic chairs so those are what you'll see in my photos. I did upgrade to the chair sashes though. I think they were just under $2 each Canadian. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I agree WJ turn around was super fast!! We used Air Canada solely based on price. We had 30 days to sign the agreement. Then guests had 90 days to make a deposit to get the group rate. Then it was due 90 days before we flew. I booked in May 2014 for my January 2015 wedding. At the time WJ was the pricey one. Really so many factors play a role. Even booking 9 months out my flight changed due to a flight schedule that had not been confirmed. So a heads up on that. I think for the resort and economy that price seems standard my travel agent says they have to 'predict' pricing on what happened the year previous and with the dollar, the prices are NOT what we have seen before. Given you have time, I would maybe wait a little bit. What did your travel agent suggest? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
