  1. @@JoannaBanana I can totally relate to what you are feeling. When I was up 10 after the wedding I didn't seem to do much. But now at 20 and my pants give me a stomach ache I am so angry with myself and feel that same extreme disappointment. So far it's stuck this time and I'm down 3.2lbs but still have a long ways to go. You'll get back there. If I can, so can you . Make small goals and work your way up. 2. No that's awesome as it includes the shirt too!! I paid close to $20 for mine. Have lots of transfer stones left but doubt I'll ever use them! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Those tanks at one point were $9.99 but didn't have our sizes. Sooooo good job!!!! They are awesome Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. An hour isn't crazy girl, I say that's normal can't wait to see. I may go and see what I can find for stocking stuffers. My itch is on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I got ours from David's Bridal. Tonnes of styles and colors Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. That's sweet. She's one hell of a singer! I couldn't even speak my own vows let alone sing. Props to her! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. We had a bride from Cuba back last August 2014. I don't know if the problem is so much if they have your shade or color but more if they even have flowers. I think she was basically told you get whatever flowers they have. She brought a lot of her own ribbons and stuff to help and she also picked some from the garden to add to it. For basics I think Mexico is far more advanced and will paint flowers too. The issue in Mexico is more what's in season. That was what I understood anyways but def safer to just ensure you get your vision by doing real touch Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. Love both rings!!! The band is so unique and will definately look great on it's own as well in 5 years Your E ring is gorgeous too I love that style. When I switched my mount I should have looked at this style but since Shawn picked the band with one stone I felt I should keep the same. I love my e ring don't get me wrong, I just love lots of styles lol. Enjoy your trip!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. We just moved to Coventry and I have one less than 2 mins away. My husband always teased 'do you wanna go in?' 'Do you miss going to Michael's'. I always say I just wanna use a coupon lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Thanks!! To further motivate you, I got up this AM and did 1 hour of Body Pump (endurance lifting)..... sooooo hopefully that will push you to go after work! I know it's hard when you are tired. That's why I've been pushing myself to go in the AM's when I have the option - we don't always do, I understand that 100%! Now I am off to work on Statistics, booooo.... lol but it's a cold rainy day here, so nothing much else fun to be done!
  11. It might be because she is not sure of exactly your plans? I have no idea. I kind of came up with a schedule thru seeing brides posts on here, then I sent it to my WC and my photographer for suggestions. Generally it was the photographer who helped me square it away. Is that an option for you, to ask your photographer?
  12. Your friends are awesome!! That looked like so much fun! It really is heartwarming to see how much love people have for one another hey? hahah love the 'memorabilia' I also did mine early due to all the holidays, about 2 months. Pictures will never surface of mine, what a night and a hangover that was Super happy you had a good time!!
  13. Hey, I just did a quick search of the sunset time on October 27th and it says 6:15pm....which means no later than 6:30pm it will be dark outside, if not by 6:15pm. They just lose the light there. So if you have your ceremony at 4:30pm-5:00pm, then you spend the entire cocktail hour with your guests, I don't feel you will have enough sun for pictures. Generally the rule of thumb is to have your ceremony 2 hours before sunset, but that is for the ceremony and pictures, I don't believe they take into account you are having a cocktail with your guests. Since you have a small party, I think you have some wiggle room as group pics won't take you very long, but if you want to have an hour cocktail party with your guests, then an hour or so to have photos with your husband, I would probably suggest starting at around 3:30pm ish. 3:30-4:00pm ceremony 4:00-5:00pm cocktail hour 5:00-6:00pm photos for you and your spouse Here is what we did - we lost light around 5:30pm in January... 3:00-3:30pm ceremony/toast 3:30-4:00pm group/family photos 4:00-5:00pm my guests had cocktails/mariachi and we did our bride/groom shots 5:00pm reception (I had originally booked for 3:30pm but I was nervous they wouldn't be on time and we wouldn't have enough sunlight, so I bumped it up just to make myself less stressed -- of course they were on time) Hope that helps some!
  14. I have wanted to go to coco bongos both times I've been and just never do it. Soooo jealous looks like a great time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I was going to say # 1 but I changed my mind .... #2 is my fave. Love them both but on #1 it almost looks like the underlay to the lace up top is a bit scant and could show too much skin. If you get my point.
  16. Everything looks great!! Ok I lost myself hehe all the rings you posted today are yours and you plan to wear then all together? If yes that will look fantastic. Can't wait to see it all on your finger Our sunglasses, though not the same brand, were hard plastic. Not flexible at all. Love it all. I hope all comes thru for the alterations. I'm sure it will but I know it can be stressful. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Awe love your story!! Congrats to you both. Your ring is absolutely gorgeous. Love the band!! I've never been on a cruise myself as I'm scared to get dizzy! But you are tempting me to try! My co worker just got married on a cruise ship I do believe it was in Jamaica as well. I'll ask her Can't wait for more. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. What you post on BDW can/does go all over the world too. When I was planning and googling ideas there was always BDW posts and pics in the searches Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I has wed pics too. More people used FB. Hindsite for my crowd a hashtag may have worked better. The older folk used wed pics probably as lots aren't on FB a lot if at all. There is still people I haven't seen their pics 8 months later. 19. Good for you for taking extra time too!!! I also left Saturday and only took the Friday off. I just tied up lose ends and relaxed. Thankfully my job wasn't overwhelming at the time. 6 days will fly by I'm sure of it. Just remember as you plug away late at night that the light at the end of the tunnel is within your grasp now I can't wait to hear all about it. Travel steamer was one of the best things I brought!!! Closet on plane was only a half closet so my dress was a mess. As was the bridal party's dresses and shirts. It got ALOT of use. I wasn't paying for the resort to steam as it was $160 US for my dress NOT! You'll be glad to have it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. @@TinkerSofi just got married here there are threads for this resort if you use the search bar above. Congrats and welcome!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. I agree, it's hard to beat the scenery, and less is more in these cases Oops I wanted to say something before and I forgot...... Try not to let your mom get you down. There is clearly still some (insert emotion) lingering from her divorce from your dad. It has nothing to do with you. She knows you don't love her less, but since she doesn't have a relationship with him it hurts. I think you could say she is being selfish and I have a good feeling she will get over it. Good luck! and ps - noone will even think twice that your dad is walking you down the isle.
  22. Cinnabons will kill the best of us!! Soooooo, I got on the scale yesterday and woot woot! Happy to finally report a 2.2lbs loss I did make it to the gym the 2 times I said I would I wanted to do more weights this week, but I slept in. Was going to call it a day and went on MFP and saw a friend on there had a fantastic loss this week, so I hauled my arse out of bed and did another round of step! Plans for the week - do weights atleast once, but if I can move after will aim for 2 - atleast work out 3 times this week - NOT get on the scale everyday (will be huge for me to accomplish this) - actually measure myself (haven't done this once thru my whole journey, which is crazy mind you) A big one for me will be mindless snacking, so far so good -- not sure if any of you know this (I know @@acw271011 does) that I finally quit my job in June. It was a miserable place to work and management was getting worse and worse. Took a stress leave after I got engaged and made it this far. Nursing is tight right now for jobs. I am working 1 day at a week at this awesome new job, but I have a lot of free time. Sooooo I decided to finally get my nursing degree (I am an LPN with a diploma) soooo I just started 4 classes and it's all online. So you can imagine sitting here thinking 'I should eat that' or 'what could I snack on' But so far so good. Wish me luck!
  23. Your wedding dress is gorgeous!!!! hehe on the flower, that is one large flower. I think it will look beautiful with a veil and it's your friend's moms which is really cool too! Sounds like you have everything moving a long nicely. Love the ceremony location. I don't want to say this and be totally wrong, but did they paint that white? I thought I had read that somewhere. Either color is gorgeous though. Will look great. Love your colors too - can't wait to see more of them. We had a buffet at our wedding because, well, it was cheaper! lol! and honestly there was so much food and selection everyone loved it. They had something for everyone and people could have as much as they wanted -- even though it was a buffet, it was different foods for the most part that you would find in the actual buffet so it worked well. Can't wait for more!
  24. Ahhhh makes sense now. I knew people used hashtags after statuses but didn't know it was for FB only. Now I'm all educated thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
