I can't even fathom ever sending a bill to someone who didn't show up to my wedding. This is grounds for 'friends off' IMO, but I guess a bride and groom sending a bill would imply they want 'friends off' anyways because that's no way to act. It doesn't really even say if they spoke to eachother before the bill was sent -- who knows, something terrible could have happened. Have some compassion before you get angry you paid for an extra plate. I pick my friendships over $75. Some of the comments on the post on FB actually are in favor of this. One stated they could have atleast called or texted the bride/groom to say they weren't coming. What couple on their wedding day needs that stress or has time for that? Even if you did try, they may not even see the text or hear the phone ring. A follow up call a day or two later is appropriate IMO. Thoughts?

And you are coming into winter, so some of those places may have them on clearance. That is probably why I got mine so cheap. I would have gotten them late 2014.

Does it have to be a tote bag, or would a beach bag be ok? I think you may have to go that route if you want 1-2 towels to fit into them. Maybe search for that instead on google.... that said, I got my bridal party beach bags from La Vien Rose for $3.99 each and they were great and easily fit 2 towels. They had about 6 colors and after the fact, I should have done one per couple because everyone raved about how awesome it was to pick us out based on our beach bags lol.... That said, I got ours at an outlet mall, so regular price would probably be way way too much, but maybe worth checking out?

Hey Alex @@AlexC Recently I haven't heard of anyone using the restaurant for the reception, but that could be because they didn't have a package that supported it. I believe Gold and higher you can have it privately with a DJ and dancing, but the silver and free packages are semi-private -- that could be why they chose to do the 'after party' package instead (the one at the beach or health bars). If you have the package that is private, I say go for it!!!! You can easily move from dinner to the dancing!! It would be air conditioned as well which would be super nice. We were sweating in the palapa!!

Of course you want it to work out but it doesn't lessen the blow. Your feelings are just. You can't make sense of it and might not for awhile. I hope you feel better soon! Just remember your day will be here (super soon) and this won't matter at the time. It's hard to believe your wedding is coming so that means my 1st anniversary is. Awe hun I feel terrible for you. What I think tugs at me is what if this relationship with this guy doesn't work out? She picked him over you and she may regret that decision for the rest of her life. I'm a little surprised he isn't more supportive of her going either. My husband would push me to attend because 1. She's known you longer and is a great friend and 2. She already committed!! None the less those are only my thoughts and I feel your hurt. I hope this all works out for the positive. That's a good number!!! You will definately need 2 hours! If you are doing group and family photos those in themselves will take time. We had 45 people and those took a good 30 mins on there own. I highly recommend you make a list of all those group/family photos you want and give them to someone to usher people around. My MC (brother in law) did and he was just perfect. He'd call out who was next and get everyone together. Made it go smooth and nothing got missed. Yikes!!! Generally cocktail hours are an hour! So seems weird you'd be quoted a 30 min one! I was told nothing was priced in 30 mins only an hour. I'd book your ceremony 2 hours before your dinner. Better to be safe than sorry. Also how many people will be at the spa with you? You yourself will take 1-2 hours for your hair and makeup, then travel back to the room and getting ready.... Especially if you want 'getting ready pics' that can't all be done in 2 hours. EDIT - unless the 4pm pick up is for guests, and yours is closer to 5pm? Then that might work. We had 4 of us for hair and makeup. We started at 10am and didn't get done till closer to 1. Had a quick bite at the spa restaurant and made it back to the room by 145pm just in time for the photographer. I was picked up shortly before 3. Depending where your room is, you might not want to walk in the heat. we had to wait for the shuttle and it takes about 10-15 mins per round. I'd say atleast budget 1.5 hours at the spa for yourself. I had a trial so I found the wedding day went quicker. We had 3 stylists for the 4 of us. Hmmmm maybe clarify that beach is palapa?! It may be a typo. I am not sure why you'd eat outside and head inside for speeches. That's my guess that it's a typo. Hope that helps some Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'd say by now you should be firming up selections so I'd be chocked and stressed if I were you too. How do you pay a bill you haven't created by making selections. Even for symbolics they get you to sign a symbolic certificate that said, they revamped mine so my witnesses could sign (ie not look symbolic) and it was super quick. But my ceremony wasn't legal so more may be entailed ie - the finger printing on the document. I think 1 is probably safe but pick 2 to cover your bases. I'm sure the WC could tell you as well!!! Hope everyone starts to feel better soon!!! Must be the season ugh! I've kept at it. Worked out as I said I would yay! Last weekend Shawn and i went downtown and I drank a bit too much. So not overly surprised I only lost .4 this week. That's a total of 4 lbs total. This weekend I stayed on track. Had a baby shower to attend and didn't blow it woohoo. Went over a little cause it's hard when you didn't prepare the food. Hope that nets a nice loss this week. Still have a long ways to go but proud of myself! And proud of all you it's a hard battle.
