Sounds like the review may have been wedding related? It's tough. We had some bad reviews before we left but truth be told once you've been there you wonder how picky or uptight those people were lol That said, trust in the fact you've been there. Take comfort in that you know numerous brides from here with glowing reviews and just try to go in with an open mind. Not everything will go as planned but take it in stride and if something does happen don't let it ruin your day. I feel your pain (haha no pun intended) on the sunburn. Pre tan and use tonnes of sunscreen and you'll be fine. You won't be able to avoid any tan lines they just don't be as bad!!! Here is mine. My chest, back, hands and knees. I was dying. Can still see it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I'm in Calgary so was just a bit surprised. I know a couple who's gone there and loved it. They have a good reputation and I bet it's a fun place to be. The dollar isn't helping pricing either! @@snswedding2016 Me too!! I burned my first trip to Mexico pretty bad and I can still see the lines from 3 years ago! I started fake tanning but ran out of time. You need a month or more to really get a tan so get on it ladies. I went for three weeks and you could barely tell lol I am fair skinned so I didn't go for long periods. Maybe 7 mins then worked up. That said I used SPF 60 every hour and did well. You just have to apply apply apply. After my first oops I learned my lesson. I personally also feel the spray sunscreen works better. You could also buy 110. It's harder to find but it's out there. Go pros rawk. We don't have one but do have a waterproof Olympus and best money we spent Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Thanks @@Wafflesmom I think it's more just because it happens so close to weight in. Apparently there is dancing, aerial dancers, artists drawing, scotch tasting and much more. It's a whole red carpet affair. We shall see what other surprises are in store. I work for non profit so it's all to help our clinic I was a bit nervous about what to wear as I didn't wanna spend tonnes of money on something I'll never wear again! I borrowed a black sleeveless dress from my friend. I've purchased a head band with bird cage, long pearls, a boa, lace gloves and fish net stockings! Should play the part well enough!!! I forgot about a wrench that's being thrown in my week lol For work tomorrow I am attending an old Hollywood gala. We get to dress up old school and have some fun.... Sorry you are already going thru the trials and tribulations of destination wedding planning! Shawn's dad dug his heals in HARD and we stood our ground. Good for you to do that as well, as hard as it much be with it being your sister. You will find that people will ask you to change your plans, so you do, then they back out. Went thru a lot of that before we set the date. You can only do so much, so keep your head up!

Noone has checked in, so to keep this thread active I will.... I was a bit surprised that I only lost .6 this week given I did well over the long weekend, but a loss is a loss. My total is 7lbs. I only worked out twice last week so really trying to get up to 3 this week. Next week I start a new casual job, so I am going to be stressed. Not only do I have to figure out how to work out in the evenings (so much easier in the AM after I bring the kids to school) but now I have full time work and a full time course load!!!!!! EEK!!!! wish me luck. I only train until the end of November, but I know they have a full time line opening I am going to apply for!!!! Trying to get into the school work full steam ahead. Unfortunately the gym may take a back seat... will aim for atleast 2x a week though until the end of November when things should calm down some!!! Hope others are doing well.

I personally like this one better. Not sure if I'm more traditional in the flower sense or if because then you can see all the flowers no matter which direction you are holding it. Both are gorgeous though so can't go wrong either way. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Awesome! Our legal one was actually longer than our Mexican one. In Canada we had a lot of the repeat after me stuff. In Mexico we only said 'I do'. Have a wonderful time.
