  1. ^^ or if she means local to the wedding location you have to consider what your fee will be from the resort from using an external supplier Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Grrr nothing like typing out a long response. Hitting send. And realized you lost cell service. Boo Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Ya the lady posted her luggage tags. Tropical on front. Funny comments on back. Pink bow haha I think for the men too they may use it more without a colorful bow all the time Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. I also looked at the stratosphere. But Mexico won haha. Can't wait to see all your pics. I love Vegas!! Sounds perfect. And something me and my family would enjoy too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Plastic loop is durable!! And we know airlines. Maybe tie the ribbon with it it? Or tie a bow (saw someone else do that on here). I'm using both Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I said on our website it was an informal beach wedding and a nice pair of shorts and top or sundress was appropriate. I personally don't mind them in anything but speedos lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. Mine was $1300 and I spent $500. It's possible Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Per another msg above 30 for a destination wedding is not pathetic. I think it's a great number personally and just think... When do you get to spend a week in paradise with 30 of your friends and family. It's going to be fantastic and those who didn't go will look back and regret it. That said, wow, what's with people and the guilt trips. While it's his sister I expected more I just don't understand why people can't just say ' we really can't make it work, we are so sorry' then make you feel like a piece of crap. I know she is family but don't waste another breath on her ok? Hugs. It's her loss and she will regret it. Whoever tells someone they are selfish for having a wedding of their dreams is the selfish one. A married bride should know better.
  8. Some in Canada but unless you pay rush won't be here in time. I ordered mine mid July and they told me 14 weeks which is around November. May work but would cut it very close.
  9. It's certainly tough with teenagers, especially boys (hehe) My middle sister declined being a BM, which relieved me some to be honest, but I guess they have the right Good luck and let us know what comes of it!
  10. Interesting! I ordered some blingy sandals from Spring, but have considered just getting myself a pair of the sandals my BM's are wearing as they are only $9.99!! hehe!
  11. @@KAT2015 Picking a resort was super stressful!! Then you move on from that and stress out if people are going to put down their deposits and commit! Sounds like you have a great TA working behind you. I loved Sunwing, wish we could have used them. I have never been to the DR, so unsure of direct flights, but that sucks you have to transfer! Good luck!
  12. @@VegasBride121314 I always said I would marry in Vegas, but alas it's Mexico lol Nonetheless when I was looking at places in Vegas (Paris/Bally's would have probably one), I was noticing A LOT of the chapels said they were 'sold out' for 12-13-14 heheh Seeing your username makes me think of this!
  13. @@kmk2016 It's not that long!!! Teenagers forsure! My twins will be the flower girl and ring bearer respectively. My fiance doesn't have any kids, but treats mine like his own.
  14. I was at Dollarama and they had 24 individually packed wet wipes for $1. Thought that was a good price and a useful item if people had planned to put those in their bags! I actually use QTips everyday as a part of my morning routine so they come everywhere with me!
  15. That is what their website says, I read that too.... but my travel agent has assured me on numerous occasions that my dress will get hung if there is a closet or go in the overhead bin and noone will question it whatsoever. We are also using ACV... Calgary to Cancun... we are a little ways out to know about seating arrangements but I was told I got an upgrade to first class. Do you? I think most flight attendants will be helpful even (I HOPE!!) to help make sure you get it in the overhead bin safely. I have kids so get to board first, my BM's have already told me that they will guard the overhead bin like the plague if that is where mine is going. I have already accepted the fact it may wrinkle. Where do you live that it takes 3 transfers to get to Cuba!?
  16. I found out because we upgraded to the private location - which in turn includes NOONE for free - that price we are paying for the dinner includes it all (extra chairs, toast, appetizers, etc.) So I feel relieved about that. Had we have stuck for the ala carte that was in the package we would have paid extra for all of it.
  17. We did our RSVP date the same day as our deposits were due because I couldn't decide on another date! lol! We had a few people say 'it's just too early to know forsure but we will keep you posted' which I totally appreciate but some just flat out ignored it. We had ALOT, like almost all, book in the last week -- so should be interesting for you! Honestly at one point I really believed noone was coming!
  18. Mine was $523 after tax Needs some alterations (hem, bustle) but can't complain I saw the info on Facebook - my news source JK! - but I wasn't really sure I would go. I am by no means close to my wedding in September but have bought almost everything so kind of thought 'what's the point?' If we knew eachother we could all go together!!!
  19. Alright! I read Andrea's email that when we pay for the upgrade and pay for each person to have dinner that includes everything - 'that includes already dinner, toast, appetizer, chairs and everything else' Safe $375 pesos which is about $31 canadian Wifi per week $455 pesos which is about $38 canadian
  20. I think my BP will walk to Everything by Michael Buble
  21. Beautiful! I haven't done any because most quotes are around $675 and it blows my mind!! But each time I see one I am bending more and more!
  22. Mine didn't have any issues drying either. But mine was just thicker cardstock. Wish I was daring enough to attempt to print on the ticket jackets!
  23. I think you've done a great job... and personally since the bow tie is fairly small even if it is slightly off you won't notice.... We got all our dresses at DB as well, I LOVED the one you have above, but the girls chose a different one. We are doing the bright pink - begonia as they call it - color. Hindsite I wish I would have done a mix of colors but ah well. great colors and choices!
