It's all included in Canada. That's probably the difference. I had to pay a deposit to hold 15 rooms/30 seats on plane but it was non refundable if we chose to cancel. The more I think about it - even told fiance about it - how can you invite one and not the other no matter where it is. If there is an issue don't invite either. I would be highly offended.

Did you get all the wedding info? It's quite thorough and all in there. I can email if you'd like. I was told it's 10 double rooms for 7 consecutive nights to get the free wedding. This includes the ceremony on the public beach and the reception in an ala carte for 1.5 hours. There is also the chapel and the private beach for ceremonies. I think we've all been here in some regard. My best friend (ummm the girl I thought was my best friend) hasn't even talked to me once about my wedding. Declined or flat out ignored all requests I had for her to be involved. Didn't even get to ask her to me by MOH. Heck we considered paying for her because I knew it would be tight for them. Long story short I approached her and got a lame excuse. We hashed it out. I asked her one last time to be involved and got a snooty response so I moved on. Never got an RSVP either. Actually never got a happy birthday yesterday either and she knew darn well it was. Oh well. I've removed her from my life and all aspects of it (Facebook) etc. I don't have time for high school behavior and I can surround myself with the people who are happy for me. I agree. My location upgrade was $980 but then I have to pay per person for food. Otherwise I only upgraded a few decor things and got a DJ. It's my preference for the 6 hour open bar that's $$ but the free package with upgrades was what I needed and still by far the cheapest. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I think the website is the perfect place for it. I think people just want to know the hard facts as cost literally means everything for a DW IMO and that may possibly be the first question they ask/info they look for. Don't feel awkward everyone does it Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I totally understand 100%. Id send out the reminders. Some people thanked us as they had forgotten. Others just ignored them and we assume they aren't coming. My travel agent was SUPER busy the last day because of everyone waiting till the end. We ended up with 40 plus my family of 4. It was finally nice to have a better number. Your end is in site yay! Who doesn't consider them in your group - the airline or the resort? I assume the resort still would if they are staying there, but just not the airline. I agree, send reminders. But I read your post in another thread that some of the 54 have booked, just not with you? If yes, can't you just use that as an RSVP? minus the menu they want, etc. gives you a soft number.

I think they are both adorable, but I like the first one more... kissing with the shells around them is so awesome... I am more a basic girl, so I went with a solid B with some bling on it lol. You can't go wrong with either!!!

Hello I am not yet married but at our resort we chose the free wedding package but upgraded our dinner/reception as a semi private in an ala carte is all that was included in the free package and we wanted more. The reason I chose the free package and upgraded is because the bigger packages had so much I didn't want but the free package didn't have exactly the things I envisioned. Unless you want a pretty basic wedding the free packages don't include a tonne of extras or private things. So you may want to upgrade some things. We are staying at the Grand Sirenis Riviera Maya. Exactly. My numbers went way up (which rawks) but ya I had to increase my budget lol... we are paying per person too!

I had looked into maybe getting lessons, but haven't really done anything with it so not sure we will. We are trying to decide what to do. We picked our song, but I am not sure I want to be out there with all eyes on me for 4 mins, so we thought maybe half way thru we could do our parental dances to the same song. I don't know ahhhhhh I love those videos you see of the slow dances turn awesome dance routines but it is so overdone now that I don't know if I want to do that either.

In our package we had like 40 pics to choose from but it stated they would make a bouquet of anything I wanted so as it was in the 'free flowers' section. they also had flowers in the 'extra charge' section. My guess is that they will do it for you, so hopefully she gets back to you soon!! if you bring flowers in, you may have to pay that external supplier fee which irks me!

EDIT: This is what I missed the first time around...... Will add more about passports but everyone in our group is aware Week long fun plans (welcome drinks, excursions, etc.) Fees of the extras (wifi, etc.) To watch for people in the airport and the hotel for timeshares, helping with baggage,etc. our webpics app and how to use it

I could be way off base here, but my fiance and I went together to get his ring.... and he will get it to wear after we get married at our ceremony. We didn't do it like he did for me. I thought that was how it was done, but what do I know lol

Is YVR Vancouver? We wanted to price that one out for our Kelowna guests but were told that ACV didn't have a direct flight and it blew my mind. They are a MAJOR center. I agree, I didn't want a connector either, also gives more opportunities for baggage mishaps.
