I'm paying $1600 for full day coverage (one package higher than mine). They had packages as low as $700 - but hourly rates as well. I'm using the resort photographer - photo adventures - because honestly my 'real life' friends x2 used them and I adored their pictures. And to be honest I look at all the pictures of all the photogs and can't see the difference. Maybe it's because I'm easy going? But I can't see the difference between $1600 and $4500 lol. Maybe the creativity. I've spent a lot of time looking in my city for engagement photos and at so many different photogs -sometimes their price differences make no sense. I didn't research out different ones in Mexico because I was ok with our resort one from the get-go. They may do off site weddings. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Definitely. It's your decision 100% and both need to respect that. And I'm sure they will. We haven't decided one way or another on our situation. They know we are considering it and will get back to them In October. They are still coming to Mexico and have every right! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Groom's Attire?
calgarybride2015 replied to pddcmc's topic in Destination Wedding Dresses, Wedding Attire & rings
I actually saw some wedding photos today that the men, including the groom, were in a coordinating color of GOLF SHIRTS! I know right? would never have crossed my mind. but it looked good!!! they had on a nice pair of shorts - quite similar to what we picked out for our men. Now I somewhat wished I would have saw this before, because I would have done that over the white button up dress shirts. Even more funny, the bride and I have the same dress!! lol!! oh well, too late!- 72 replies

What Flavor Is Your Cake?
calgarybride2015 replied to nadiakat17's topic in Wedding Flowers, decoration, cake, etc.
When do you have to hand all your paperwork in with all of your choices? whether it be dinner, cake, flowers, music, how you want your hair done, etc.? I have to have mine in my October (3 months prior). -

When we booked our wedding package with the deposit I got all the forms and spreadsheets full of pictures of flower, cakes, extras, etc. -
Anyone Else Overwhelmed With Cost?
calgarybride2015 replied to kcole123's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
Me too! I've been a budget nazi hehe but that said, I have splurged and pushed the boundaries when I realize it's important to me. I wasn't going to do OOT bags but really loved the cup idea (we loved this idea from the second we got engaged) so I compromised on the cup we chose and then decided I could cut out one date night to fill them lol. I still don't fully understand the programs. Our wedding is short and sweet and people know how it goes. By the time we get married everyone will be aquatinted. Also the menus - we are having a Buffett so walk up and see lol. I'm more casual and see this as more formal. We got engaged in April. Picked a resort early May. We decided we wanted all wedding funds saved by November (wedding in January) so we feel a crunch but are over half way there and I'm proud we've done so well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
I can only speak for that resort. Now I'm Going to a 5* and I have to pay and hear it only works good in the lobby lol It's a crap shoot. Since everyone I care about will be with us my phone will be stored away. During all my travels I've found Time away from your phone is best done in Cuba. Hahahaha. Wifi is slim to none! I got engaged in Cuba and I had to wait a couple days to find an internet cafe!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What Flavor Is Your Cake?

We have 3 options. Vanilla, Chocolate or strawberry. I would choose vanilla but fiancé want chocolate and I'm cool with it. I love cake, any cake so he can feel he got to choose one thing hehehhe Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -
Tonnes of reasons you may not know someone's plus one. My be a friend or relative who lives at a distance and you've never met them. Also I don't hang out with all my friend's friends so if it's one I never met at a birthday or what have you. Just have to trust their judgement. I've never met my sisters boyfriend and he's coming. Also never met a lot of my fiance's side as they live in Ontario. I've only met his immediate family. I'm not having an AHR but I invites 60 ish people. 41 are booked so far. I could have easily invited 200-250 people. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I don't like them using your reserved rooms and not asking! I haven't decided yet but I'm sure I will extend the invite. They know what our cost is and want to pay us but how rude is that to accept? I never ever would. They don't care either way either it's more my fiance's guilt he's taken on himself. Paying For Off Site Guests
calgarybride2015 replied to Mangosong's topic in Wedding Etiquette, Traditions, to dos
It was clearly on my website - our TA -booking alone for our resort - booking alone for another resort I said this is your day pass fee and don't forget transport to/from and I lucked out as everyone booked with us expect one couple who's son works for another airline so preemo deal! Unfortunately when you give someone a plus one you have to be prepared that you won't know them! Make sure that you have ushers for the first rows or signs. I think most people should know they are for family but some people aren't so smart. The groomsmen are our ushers. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Hehe I've said that too. Sometimes I think I should tell e harmony but don't recall my users name or anything Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

@acw271011 I am very bad for eating when i am bored. Other than my twin pregnancy, I am the reason I was overweight, ugh! I do agree it gets harder the older you get, but at the end of the day changing your habits makes you so much healthier and lively too IMO. I find maintaining to be much harder, for me anyways, it's like your goal is gone. I was trying to come up with new ones! I will maintain for awhile, then gain a few over my comfort zone - rinse and repeat. It seems my body likes one general weight range which can be annoying LOL I think that's why it is SOOOO important to find something you can stick to. @@tygrrlily I agree, it's all about finding something fun that you love to do. I do a lot of dance classes (don't know if your goodlife has Body Jam, but I LOVE it). I also love Body Pump and now Body Shred. I also love Attack but it's at a poopy time for my work schedule. That sounds painful - I am sure you have had someone look at it? ouch! My fiance just joined Goodlife as they have a new co-ed opening a minute from our place. I am excited for his encouragement.
